thank you, it is a swiss eta day date from ruby. i studied these for a couple of years before buying one and this is the best i have found. the case is the correct size and although it is light compared to solid gold it still has good weight and a real solid gold dd still isn't as heavy as you would think. no rolex watch is really heavy. it would have to be somebody familiar with handling them to call it out as a rep. as far as diamonds and looking fake? i live around old oil money. everybody has a customized diamond encrusted rollie. when they see mine they just think i am cheap but they never think it is fake. lol

i don't think my e-mail notifications are working. i remember that now. it did take along time for that to get sorted out and you to get a new watch. first the address thing happened and then the factory was out of white dials. i remember her telling me about it. is yours still running good? mine is working perfectly and i play with the chronos all the time. maybe i am lucky with this movement but i just ordered a bce from her with it. we will see if i have the same luck with it. lol she picks the watches up personally from the factory, photographs for the customer if they want to give final approval before shipping, then sends by Currier for shipping. if there is a problem with the watch she returns to the factory for repair, not to a repairman.

i have one from ruby and i can see it. there is a blue edge where the light is reflecting on the crystal and a blue ring at the edge of the crystal. it is very easy to see on mine in the sun and different types of inside lighting. it is about the same as the newest version of the 42.5 omega po. it is only on the inside of the crystal. not like the ultimate 45mm po which has it on both sides.

you have to hold this one before you know it is a rep. lol

and oddly enough i deal with her exclusively to the tune of about 800.00 ea month and she gets it right every time. hmmm...

you will have to cover the brushed links with some tape so you don't polish them and the other way if you are re brushing the brushed links. it will be time consuming but it is the only way that i know to preform this job. hope this helps

if ruby or joshua's gold don't look good they will tell you. i have placed orders with them in the past only to receive an e-mail a couple of days later telling me the suppliers didn't have a good selection. the gold didn't look good. that is all you can ask for in my opinion. i have 2 rose gold reps that are holding up beautifully. the newest one is 6 months old and the oldest is 1 year. if i am not mistaken ruby can have your reps replated if you need.

i also think that ron did a great job. i went there everyday to see what had been listed for sale. i made several purchases and always posted my dealer reveiws there. i will miss it.
