Same ol'....

I agree.... Those lugs are lovely!!
-
Not bad- Correct rotation, but no flat topped '3's and the 26 has an open '6'.
Have a look at mine- Flat '3's and closed 26...

I don't know how they compare to HK's or BOB straps. The only other straps I've owned are Dirk and MF. Compared to those, the L'Egizio's don't feel quite as nice.

Smat's been around for a while. Decent stuff for reasonable prices.

Not sure, but I know Snap-On has a cobalt bit that size, and can be ordered online.
Hobby train stores and jeweler supply houses will probably stock something in that size as well.

The 2.0mm springbar ends are 1.2mm; 1.3mm should be used to allow clearance of the ends to extend fully.

You could always fit a genuine/aftermarket/redial of a silver dial. The subdials share the same spacing as genuine

I'd love to add one to my collection as well, but I'd prefer to build one. Don't get me wrong... 100% genuine would be great to have, but for me the fun in this hobby is in putting things together
I've got an idea on where to start for parts (watchco is included in my list); maybe I'll start looking at starting a project this Fall...
-
I chose to go with both!
And a PN for good measure...

I may just have to build one since a rep doesn't exist. I suppose I could also just buy gen, but there's no fun in that
-
I agree 100%; Perfect! Absolutely gorgeous.
I think I want one.
Hmmmmmmm...

You can install a genuine 7mm crown...
But, in order to get it to work, you'll need the appropriate tube for it...
This may or may not need tapping of the case as it sounds as though you have the smaller tube intended for the 6mm Twinlock crown.

Different tastes for different people I suppose.
I like my crystals voluptuous... Like my women.

Davey, PP,
To repair the scratches, I use a clear varnish that's matte in finish. It fills in the scratch, and leaves 0 evidence that a scratch was even present.
I just did a repair on this dial as well last week, as I accidentally put a small scrape on the surface (see it next to the 2:00 marker?).
I still have to take an 'after' pic to show the results.
-
I'm still counting on the reproduction datewheels...it certainly is a frustrating wait, especially seeing yours glistening behind that dial.
I'd like a reproduction as well, with the numbers/rotation going clockwise. It would make things so much easier!

What a difference a crystal makes! Just rec'd a T21 from my supplier today, fitted this afternoon, and voila...

The one we were discussing this morning?

A pic of my dial before repairing the scratch. See it right above the date window?
Is it possible to rewove the cyclops?

If sapphire... Yes. Acrylic poses more of a problem, and hence requires more caution.
