Yeah... The coronet is always one of those things that I was hoping would be fixed, but no luck yet. Doesn't seem to bother me too much, though- I think the shiney, glossy sub dials bother me more. D-Dub will be sending me a new, revised dial in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that both the coronet and sub dials will be addressed and improved with that revision. if not, I'll have to have a custom dial printed.
T-21 is going on tonight. Will post some new pics with it installed.

I'd like to see a closer pic of those crown guards!

I don't have it in my possession- But it is available to me by my supplier.

Heh... Well, a lot of it was actually purchased within a 4 month time span (and is just now arriving, though the DW was purchased last week). So... The purchases have been spread out a bit- Just the timing of their receipt is making it feel like Christmas all over again. Kinda makes it difficult to explain to the missus why so much stuff has been showing up at the doorstep (who looks at me with one eyebrow raised and arms folded with foot tapping).

Damn.... I had some of the small endlinks left over from a rep bracelet I junked sometime back. I don't recall what I did with them; either threw them out or gave them away. Always seems to happen without fail- I have parts that collect dust in my parts box, I clean it out and donate/trash them and a week or a month later, I run into a situation where they could really come in handy.
From now on, I'm holding onto everything.

Heh... Now all I need is an 18k 750 PN 6263!!

Today, I came home to.... A gift?!?!
Heehee... I love it when that happens! I hastily tear open the package to find...
Just earlier this week, I had an opportunity to get my PN 6263 back; with this in mind, I felt a family picture was in order!
Spy vs. Spy....
...Vs an EE 6263 of the same configuration-
One more comparison...
Mods to follow....
Best,

Heh... Indeed. Tritium is one thing... Radium is another.
I was rather hesitant to even post my initial message, as I have no idea if the material could even be legally shipped via post or other means.
I don't think I want to deal with the stuff... It's just a little too creepy to me.

I know of three sources globally each with a small stash of T-39 superdomes.
One in the U.S. (whom I purchased from, among many other things; link is here), one in Europe who is asking very high prices, and the last one in Pacific Asia (who I suspect you got yours from if he only has 7- If so, that's a great score).

I'd say silver/gilt as well.

I have access to a very small amount of radium for luming- Enough to do maybe 2 dials and 2 sets of hands. The stuff is pricey, but given the material subject, it's a bit of a given. Item would only be available to US deliveries (no overseas shipping).
Still considering if I even want to mess with the stuff. Radium kinda gives me the creeps

Vintage or modern?

If it's Pre-A (with the style of caseback you have posted), then my favorite would have to be the PAM009, with the base dial.
Personal choice, after giving it some more thought... I'd go with the Pre-A 009 (as opposed to the 5218-202/A I posted on TRC).
Are you taking orders for these, David?

I'd say...

My two favorite dress watch designs. Both can be obtained from EL...

Hate to bring bad news to the table, but the rep T3 case is significantly smaller than the massive 57mm genuine. I don't recall the exact dimensions, but it was several mm smaller.
None the less, I'd like to see how the project turns out! May luck be on your side!
Cheers,
R

Got my hands on a couple of genuine T-39 Superdomes
Installed on a friend/fellow forum member's watch:

Compare to my genuine flat T-39:
Tried to get a good reflection of light of the dome to show how much more bubbled the Superdome is than the 'flat':

Did someone say... Silver datewheels?!?!

Yessir- That's my old MBW dial. I repaired the scratch on it (BTW, how does it look?), and have placed it over the movement and datewheel to get an idea of how it might all look.
The datewheel for the movement turns CCW- The same direction as the datewheel for a r-l-x caliber 1570/1575.
Well, I still have quite a ways to go with this little project. Both movements need an overhaul at the very least (I bought them for $8.00 US per piece), and I need to figure out how some things are going to work out. Still... It's been quite the ordeal finding parts, and bits to get everything in order. Hopefully, with the help of a very knowledgeable and experienced member (and movement master), I'll see my project come to fruition. Got my fingers crossed![:)](https://rwg.cc/datastore/emoticons/emoticons/default_smile.png)
