  1. an ebel refinished mov. for less than $900... you are a luky boy....

next my project could be this... or a milgauss... i'm looking for a good start to do a milgauss any one can give me a suggest?

^_^ The movement was not refinished, but actually brand new... ^_^

    Very lucky indeed!

As for the milgauss... Are you wanting to do a 6541, or 1019?

  2. As avitt mentioned- Best to try not to compress the bars in too much- Only enough to move them out fo the lug hole. What I typically do is undo a link so that the bracelet is seperated at the clasp. I then turn over the watch so that I am looking at the baseback side, and then insert the pin for the springbar tool. Once you see the springbar end compress, apply pressure with your finger to push the endlink just enough so that the springbar end is now pressing against the solid surface of the inner lug (i.e. the end is not going back into the hole). Then do the same to the other side; once both ends are out, it should be a matter of simply pushing the link out.

  3. it does...but my belief in Karma gives me some solice.

If I could find a "bowing" smilie I would dedicate it to Mr Ubi.

Many, many thanks! I am glad to see that the gen insert has found it's way onto your beautiful watch! It looks great!

I recently parted with my 1680, but have another in the works to replace it ;) Once you've had one, it's hard to live without...

  4. Just wait until Richemont releases their new Panerai toilet paper...

In the usual manner of oversizing everything, here is a pic of their prototype roll for sizing purposes:

On each roll, they will print the following images on each square in alternation:

I believe this is due to be a I or J series release, as they are still working the kinks out with their suppliers.
