Looks like I'll be waiting for revision 2 to come out.

Rehaut depth isn't the cause for a 'low sitting' date wheel. Rather, it's more likely to be an issue of alignment of the datewheel overlay.

I dig the 7928!! But, I must admit to always having a soft spot for that one...
-
So, nothing like this then?
-
So, how about the construction of the bezel? Does it function like genuine (i.e. you have to press it down to rotate)? And, does it have the provisions in place to be able to unscrew it from the case to clean?
Just wondering how far they went with the details...

Ahhhh... There's just something about a Superdome...

ubiquitous, yours is a rep dial, right? how does a el primero fit, if all pre2000 daytonas come with wrogn dubdial spacing?! is it specialy made for the el primero or what?
Mine is a refinish on a genuine dial base. So technically not genuine in my book, as it's not the way it was first issued by r-l-x. I consider it to be a redial, or 'aftermarket'. But not original.

Ubiquitous; Man, you are EVERYWHERE!
What does your username mean again?
Heehee... I think it means to be biquitous... Ubi biquitous. I be biquitous. We all be biquitous.

it was in the film "KILL BILL" - he was making swords -
Hanzo was actually Masashige, a member of the Hattori family of Iga and was a clandestine ninja during the 1500's in feudal Japan. To my knowledge, I don't think he had anything to do with fabricating swords; rather he was a skilled swordsman and assassin.

Something like this is always possible...
My 16520 frankenstein El Primero (still looking for a nice El Primero 400 to drop in)...
-
I love it. The funky sideways dial is strangely appealing to me.

My short list-
Vintage 165.024
Royal Oak Classic Chronograph 25860ST.0.1110ST.05
And, not wanting to be selfish, I'd like to see this one for my wifey...

Wish I had some to spare, guys. Really, I do. In fact, I'm in need of one or two more myself...
-
Hmmmmmmm...
-
Indeed. A bit more shallow.
Classic TW Best and MBW are the only ones with the depth...
-
Difficult to say with the pics provided.
-
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Inserts...
-
Have a look at that top pic. The spacing of the pushers is much more pronounced in that pic. The second pic shows it as well... But it's not as obvious.
-
My problem is buying parts! I just cannot resist a good offer on Rolex genuine vintage parts! Even if it's something I don't need, I'll think 'Hmmmm... Well, it might come in handy later?'.
My wife is ready to toss my parts box in the trash...

Take a look specifically at the crystal size and bezel.
Genuine SD's have a smaller diameter crystal, and wider bezel. If you had profile pics, you'd also see that the crystal is thicker, to accomodate the deeper depth rating. Of course, if you saw a profile pic, you'd also see if the HeV was correct or not!
Like Bob says, however, just because the pictures check out okay doesn't necessarily mean you'll be getting what's shown.
Caveat emptor!

Gee, I wonder why he didn't het any bids?!?!
Watch looks interesting. At first glance, because of the subdial layout, it looks like a piece of junk. But if you analyze the photos a bit you'll see:
-Asymmetric pushers
-Nice 571 end links
-A dial with a coronet placed too high
Hmmmmm... It is a very intriguing watch indeed.

Well, that is a genuine 'flat' T-39, but not the one that's really 'correct' for the DRSD. The DRSD originally came with a T-39 Superdome like this:
The Superdome, however, is commonly replaced with the 'flat' T-39 these days, as the Superdome is, and has been out of production for some time now.
BTW- Here is a side by side comparison of a genuine superdome and a genuine flat 39. The Superdome is a friends' watch I installed it on- The flat is my 1665 white font SD:

Ditto on that. 'Slytech' just seems cheesy to me. Always has...
A question about replicas...
