  1. Some work from one of my favorites- Olivia De Berardinis.
  2. I'd say... This: Or this: My two favorite dress watch designs. Both can be obtained from EL...
  3. Hate to bring bad news to the table, but the rep T3 case is significantly smaller than the massive 57mm genuine. I don't recall the exact dimensions, but it was several mm smaller. None the less, I'd like to see how the project turns out! May luck be on your side! Cheers, R
  4. It's like the top of a hamburger bun!! Also... New GENUINE insert snapped in as well!! This one's ready to go home.
  5. Got my hands on a couple of genuine T-39 Superdomes Installed on a friend/fellow forum member's watch: Profile: Compare to my genuine flat T-39: Tried to get a good reflection of light of the dome to show how much more bubbled the Superdome is than the 'flat': Regards, Randy
  6. 100% genuine silver datewheels for a 1570/5 Took forever to track down- Genuines were nearly impossible to find. Donor movements (note the direction of the datewheel rotation): Hmmmmmm More to come. Best, Randy
  7. It's the 50th Anniversary Sub... But by no means limited; rather, it's been a regular production model since it's debut as an F Serial.
  8. Oui. I'm not much of a modern Rolex guy, but I'm going to give one of the black 16610's a try.
  9. P.S. Very nice watch!! Is this one of the 21j Asian Subs?
  10. Very nice, diverse collection! I'd like to know more about that Breguet Tourbillon! How long have you had it? Any issues with it? I've been eyeing the Chinese tourbillons now for almost 2 years (from a distance). I'm always tempted to try one, but have always been a little hesitant.
  11. The genuine 1655 bezel is fixed in one position (i.e. it does not rotate). Glue that bezel down and you're set!
  12. On the 6497, the dial feet screws have one side of the head cut; simply line this flat spot up with the feet/stem and it will come free. On the MBW's- The reason why a genuine dial won't fit is because the genuine 1570/5 movement has the dial feet in different locations vs. the ETA's. There is nothing compatible between the two.
  13. abakan, If you look very closely at my Schild 2055 (the one with the white datewheel), you can see the spacer ring I'm speaking of (little ring around the edge of the movement with raised bumps): The MBW's should have this ring- As should most of our reps with an ETA movement inside. I've collected a number of these rings which I use as spares from time to time (if the need arises). They should be available from supply houses, though I am not certain of what the p/n should be. Hope this helps. R
  14. MBW/WM dials shouldn't be glued directly to the movement, but rather to the spacing ring, per se. At least, that's how I've set all of mine up. Not really a huge deal to fit, but proper alignment can take a few tries.
  15. Sure enough, it does! I'll be damned. I was initially only looking at this pic But, after looking at this pic, I do see the microstellas! Crazy!
  16. Tallguy- I concur 100%! We've got some great folks on RWG and TRC- Members who are as real and as genuine as they come! Our forums have been an absolute goldmine for knowledge, and experience. All of which is priceless! Glad to hear you took on the task of cleaning the inside of your crystal yourself! There's nothing quite like the feeling of satisfaction of doing your own work Please post some pics of your new AP! I'd love to see it! Best, Randy
