I agree totally, every rep out of the box has flaws.. There are no perfect UnModded Replicas..and this one can be easily made to 100%. However this particular watch as is .. is already a solid beauty in it's own right. Difference does not always equal worse... besides at this price of almost a 33% discount, it's more than worth it. This piece I would bet, will hold it's own in One Generation, just as the Gst did before it. I would also appreciate it, if you who are wishing to compare flaws would do it outside of group buy threads.. There are places for those discussions, which do not take our mission off track. So True,...my wife throws her watch from a standing postion, face down onto marble tabletops,.. allows it to fall into the washing machine without care,...and shows zero respect for the things... That is why I know I will Never purchase a gen for her.... Speaking of material metals.. My daily beater is a Thick, Dense metal Memovox from Narikaa,.. I dremeled and re-polished the lugs to fit a 24mm band, and it's still thick & heavy as ever... Come to think of it,.. I have had only maybe three cheap metal reps... two reversos.. and just received another memovox from a member here, because it was the first that I've seen with a date..{no alarm though}... but the metal was low quality,. nothing like the one from Narikaa...so to the kids it goes....and we will see how well the mechanics hold up.. So far they have tested quite a few over the years, through some amazing abuse, from sports to mountain hiking, swimming, wrestling, stick fighting, kendo, and the Asian movts. have come through,.. Suprisingly strong engines....

Date fonts seem rarely altered by manufacturers...and certainly won't be in a group buy. Good thing it's not that big of an issue with me, and I already consider this rep at 95%. and it could turn out to be like the Gst, a One generation, Keeper.

Thus far I have received answers from four different dealers... One says $240 is his lowest. Another, says $210, but must deliver to one location in bulk for redelivery. Third, says Yes on $210, and has 30 in stock ready to deliver. 4th says also $210 lowest, but will do hand inspections to clear up the chip paint dial flaw.

I think $200 is the realistic figure to shoot for, however hand inspections double the postage and time factors, which are against the very nature which makes group buys beneficial for both buyer and seller. It would make more sense to make sure we select a dealer that quickly addresses problems.... Regarding Fonts, we should not expect any changes in the near future with these models, however, if it really bothers you that much, date fonts can be replaced via other means, thanks to the geniuses we have here at rwg....

Hmm,.. that may be a bit low,.. and leaves no profit margin for the dealer.. True the movement is not expensive, however the case & band material on this particular watch is high quality, and the workmanship is second to none... Hold for a second while I dig up a post review for you...

Joe I think they are discussing your plea,.. that's the way they do things by making sure all mods have a say before they act, so give them time. I would like to say, however that though there may be, some inaccuracies in some of the situations regarding you... for the most part, it does seem that you are the cause of many of your woes, and if anyone were to do a little research on you, it would not, lead to the trust that you need to operate your business, especially here, where we all watch out for one another. For instance, when it was discovered that you were working on e-bay when you were supposedly unable to even answer e-mail or your retractors here and there,..and there Were, many, many people that were complaining about not receiving their watches for months,.... your reply to the question today.. with, 'it's none of your business.' is insufficient,.. in the very least,..and would lead any intelligent person to doubt that your illness was less, a cause and more an excuse... Also the issue about charging additional to those that requested returns.. was burned into the memories of many of us here,... That issue was also not cleared, at least to many of us.... Do you see what we mean ? We are only watching out for each other.. and that means the regular members..,.. non business owners, to non business owners,.. However, You, as a person who is profiting from us, must reach and maintain a high standard, that goes way beyond a normal member having disputes with another one.. and it seems that you have not done that, to the satisfaction of many of us here, no matter the supporters you have, the retractors are solid, and their words cannot be overlooked, because new members must have the total picture in order to make a sound decision.
