  1. Absolute beauty.. First, I ordered a white one, then decided for a black one... I should have opted for a blue one. Congrats J
  2. Option 1&2 = crap! Option 3 would be interesting to know. Will send mine to Domi for repair, and probably start a franken project. But will first have to sell my F.A.Jones and my PAM231... Cheers, J
  3. PS: the Portus are real stunning watches, but the movement with its extra gears is such a piece of sh.t... Stick to a gen, or build a franken!
  4. Yesterday evening my 3714 died on my wrist, after wearing it for 3 days didn't expect this to happen after that short time...guess I will have to contact concepta... J

  9. I have seen a version for $828 on perfect-hour.com with a swiss 7750. Why should this version have fixed the problems, as the A7750 is build similar? Other mods to the movt done? J

  11. compared to the posted pics, I would honestly say that my black theme has much more nicer bezel and screws. Really wanted to go for a silver one, but guess I will wait for V2...
  12. Hello and welcome to this great and very informative place. I joined this community not long ago, and learned quite a lot in the last months about gen and rep. To answer your question, I copy the answer to the question I asked a couple of weeks ago: "MBW= Mariah Best Watches (the name that is given to an specific manufacturer who in the past sold the watches by Mariah MBK= a Big mall place, soping mall where the shop of MBW is allocated. " I really suggest to use the advanced search option-it's a lot of reading, but also brings you new ideas and access to a couple of watches and members! Enjoy, J
  13. All minor flaws, and in daily use not noticeable...

    Wow

well, my friend, maybe "old wife tales teller" member Grillparzer can tell you something about her experiences with an AD in Vienna...

    Wow

Sometimes it could happen, that your watch is seized by the AD.... Unbelivable, but true...

  17. hi tmfj, you mean something else then the fallen-out movement screw and the missing adjustment screw? I think that´s enough for the moment... I would suggest to take a very close look to the movement itself...who knows ??? last month I had dinner at a chinese restaurant, and also a lot of rice wine...thought my AP had 16 screws in the bezel... first , afterwards
  18. i took a closer look to the pics on the Eurotimez site, and there seems to be the adjustment screw - sorry, but it seems that they forgot to check this on your watch! I realy don
  19. Hi TMFJ, just a question - does your PAM have a swan-neck regulation? On the pics it semms that the tuning screw is missing, or do I have a problem with my eyes? I guess your model was described on the ETZ site as to have a swanneck, oder wie oder was? J
  20. Hi, 1.) you cannot tell the size from the pics-think you'll have to ask watcheden 2.) OR strap 24mm clasp won't fit other than 24/20. Too large for the 20/18 J
  21. Hi, this watch in the automatic version was produced in the early 70s (1973) up to the 80s. Unfortunately, it was not as famous as the pre-quartz Accutron "tuning fork" watches, which were build since the 60s. It's design was inspired by the AP RO (Genta design) watches, which were "hotties" in these days and the first luxury steel watches. The prices varies between
  22. It seems to me from the pics, that this case is different from king's - the lug-horns don't look too long imho. The crown seems to be as wrong as kin's one. any feedback? http://www.perfect-hour.com/iw00102-mark-ssle-black-swiss-28242-p-7914.html J
