Howdy gang, Thought I would relay a funny story. I was at my local flea market and a guy was selling a bag-o-rolex parts. Mostly junk and crap but picked it up for $5. Using a case and bezel from a submariner, a dial and hands from a GMTII, a crown from a day date and using a cheapo evil chain store "zulu" created this monstrosity for only $5. Thought I would show you for a laugh, and before you ask, I will wear this! BTW if anyone in in the GTA of Canada, message me, as the guy at the flea market does have some cool stuff for quite cheap. I shall dub thee, the Rolex Monstrosity! Cheers! PS, I know the quality is sh*t but all I have in my webcam at the moment. My camera decided to stop working

I spotted this watch as I was fumbling around the web and thought it looked awesome. You can also get it with a stainless steel oyster band with a maple leaf on it! It says they are made for the Canadian and US Military, which is neato. They ever make any reps of these things? Cheers!

IMHO, for everyday use, why not the Rolex Noobmariner? It's not a "super" rep, but runs like a champ. Cheers.

My gf hasn't even noticed that I've switched over to the Rollie 16610 from my 1967 Bulova on a leather strap, and I don't talk about it. I think the fellas are right. They care just about as much as we care about handbags or high heeled shoes. Though she has noticed I have started smoking a pipe in lieu of cigarettes...and is not pleased.

Hey Lads (Are there any women here?) My question is this... My Noob works perfectly and the time is quite accurate as well. But...I have noticed, and I don't know if it's been doing it the entire time I've had it...when i move the watch up and down on my wrist, I can hear a sound inside of the watch...rotor perhaps? I was wondering if this is normal/has anyone else experienced this/should I be worried? Thanks in advance and as always.
