No idea if this is of interest - so I'll just post it, I guess those are hard to find:

Price is 150 euros.

PATETED diver extensions were originally fitted on early 70s DRSD 1665...
LOL... learned something again today! I would definitely have said this is a rep, because of that typo...
Funny!
After all, those "mistakes" often increase the value for collectors - think of famous stamp misprints...
-
I would ask for a new dial and let a local watch smith install the new dial onto the watch. Imo best option.
I agree, that's probably the best option!

I think this pic can't be quoted often enough! LOL

Well, my Day/Date certainly looks better... the edges of the subdials look strange. But maybe it's just a bit a glue residue that could be removed with a piece of Rodico. You can ask your dealer for a new watch, but I think I'd rather have it fixed. A skilled watchmaker can fix all the problems you mentioned for sure.
But - I agree - this is bad QC and the blurry pics are a joke! I definitely wouldn't buy from that dealer again if I had received a watch like this.

I also like to have boxes for my reps - just makes it complete somehow. Don't care about "papers" though...
The rep Omega boxes are quite good btw, at least the one I have. So not all rep boxes are crap.

Nice pics, OS!
I definitely have to come to Scotland some time soon... looks pretty inviting!

Nice... wear it well!
PS: Note the "AAA" sticker on the glass.. first time i've ever seen a rep grading sticker
I've had that before... only it wasn't... "AAA", I mean...
Unless that means something different in China, like "looked at it three times and didn't see any issue"... lol

Thanks guys!
I already decided to keep it as it is - the movement keeps great time, so that's not a problem.
Cheers,

Carpe Diem
Cats
Thanks!
I had found that one, but I wasn't clear in my OP on what I was looking for... I was looking for solid end links, modern 16610 sub.
-
Nice!
I think this is exacly the same watch as our rep... same factory, just the "sterile" version...
-
By the way on the German Rolex forum are a few good NOS or used endlinks for sale
Thanks, Cats - I'll try to get a refund. Wasn't much, but anyway... the auction is a bit misleading...
Can you send me a link for those endlink sales on the German Rolex forum you mentioned? I can't find them unfortunately...
Cheers,
W.
Edit: Thanks for clarifying, alligoat! So the are in fact for a Sub bracelet... I thought so.

Hey guys,
Does anyone know the part numbers for the gen grown and tube from CousinsUK? Also, do I need to get a stem with it or does the one the rep comes with do the job just as well?!
Thanks for any input!
Sixx
Hey Sixx,
crown should be 42184ST, tube X12870 - both for the 45.5mm version. But double-check, please! And I'm not sure about the stem...
I hope you don't want to mod the UPO you bought from me, because it already has a gen crown and tube...
Cheers,
Whatever

Yeah, starfinding!
Sure, you can see it on the pics if you take a closer look, but I just didn't expect this...

Hi!
I have an old Submariner rep with very bad endlink fitting. Before giving the watch as a present to a friend, I thought I try some aftermarket endlinks. There are quite cheap ones on thebay... so I bought them. Title said "Rolex 'Oyster/Submariner' Link SS Band Ends". There was only one pic taken from above and I didn't get it... anyway, I was quite surprised to find this in the mail:
The seller has a lot of good feedback, so I tend to think it's my mistake... So for what kind of Submariner bracelet are those endlinks???
Thanks,
Whatever

Don't bother and sell me this beauty!
Haha, nein, viel Spa

The hands will not fit Olli and the dial feet will be in the wrong position, cousins uk do have a couple of gen dials for sale though and i think they have gen hands as well,
Thanks, Andy. I thought so.
Which ETA movement do I need then to fit the gen dial and hands? I guess, if I decide to do all those upgrades, I'll buy everything together and send it all off to Domi...
Cheers,
O.

Hi guys,
I want to give my 42mm PO a full renovation...
Started with Finedd AR, looks great. Now I am planning to get a gen tube and crown, because the crown is pretty wobbly as is. I was also thinking about swapping the movement for an ETA - is it possible? Will the hands fit?
Thanks,
Whatever

Really interesting, thanks!
And I agree, a PDF ressource would be great.
