HI Tony, you can't go wrong with an MBW/ MBK 1665. Here is mine. The mods possible are limitless which is dependant on your budget Mine has - Gen faded bezel insert - Ingod44 rail dial which hasn't been relumed - ETA2846 - Silver flat top 3 date wheel overlay from Fxrandy - Gen 93150 bracelet - Gen crown - Gen crown tube - Gen T39 super dome - reshaped crown guards which I think is the first mod you should get done - redrilled holes to 2mm which is also a must. To gather parts, always keep an eye here on RWG, parts do come up and also on the gen fora.

This piece is also on TRF as I was considering it. I decided not to go ahead with the purchase due to the one permanent link being removed (modified) as per all above, it would be difficult to sell in the future due to only fitting small wrists. However, if it was being offered for $400, it would have been snapped up ages ago

Try Petaling Street in KL. Since you know the quality of what our TDs have here, you will be very disspointed with the half baked pieces that are for sale here. However, its a great atmosphere on Petaling street with vendors of all types of items and its also a nice treat to see a bunch of reps on display sparkling under fluoro lights. Best time to go is after 630pm where the buzz of the crowd is at its best. Also reasonably good food there too but at tourist prices. And don't forget to bargain with the vendors. Always offer about 80-50% less than what they ask for. Good luck and have fun
