Hi guys, I'm looking for a case that fits an ETA 2784 for a reasonable price. Yuki asks 450 for a case with a black bezel and a crystal with no cyclops. That means another 80$ for the insert and at least 50$ for the crystal I am on the verge of giving up, I have all the parts except the case. can someone steer me in the right direction? Hi guys, Thought I would share the status of my project after a few months. All parts except the movement and date wheel are from Yuki, the DW is from Ubi (Thanks again mate!)and the donor watch is an old Tourist watch I picked up on ebay. As you can see in the pictures I am stuck on the case. I am open to suggestions, since I find Yuki's case at 450$ and ClassicWatchparts bezel insert at 80$ a bit expensive. Thanks, Catalin

Hi guys, I am considering in investing in a PAM243 project. I have thought about the basic mods: lume, polish of the bezel markers, CG fix, Swiss 7750, aftermarket DW, but I am stuck on the crystal. I am looking for a decent crystal with a proper cyclops. If I can't find one I am seriously thinking about removing it. From what DSN told me, he will be offering this watch with bot Swiss and Asian movements. Couldn't get anything about the price, anyone have an idea what will the final price for the Swiss version be? Cheers, Catalin

I don't know if there is much choice of suppliers for this model, so it will be a good show if he gets it done. Hopefully, any defects will be easily corrected afterwards. At the moment I'm thinking of waiting for DSN or going for a PAM243 and having it modded by Goin. BTW: DSN said that it will come with both Swiss and Asian movements. Didn't say anything about price though... PS: This is not the first time the watch is postponed so let's not get our hopes up... Cheers, Catalin

Received a reply from DSN saying that he had to return a number of parts that were non-compliant and he hopes he will have the watches (024 and 025) ready by the end of the month. Cheers, Catalin

Peace of mind I guess.. I have a skyland that I installed a Swiss7750 into and I think it winds and ajusts smoother than the Asian. Remaking the hands means at least one-two months, right? Thanks, Catalin

I was seriously thinking about the ploprof, but the non-functional lock button and happy feet made me wait. Now, this problem with the crystal is quite serious and it seems it's affecting quite a number of watches. I'm going to wait for the elusive "ultimate version". What are you guys going to do? Do the dealers offer some kind of money-back guarantee? (Since replacing the watch with another example will not solve the problem) Thank you, Catalin

Well, the hands came in but the subials still don't work. Frustration is now reaching critical level, I thought I made all the right steps but I'm sitting here with no watch after 7 months and an expenditure of 700EUR. I will send the watch to Domenico as I should have done in the first place and see if he can do something. If not, I'm scrapping the movement, the watch and all. (maybe it just wasn't meant to be?!)
