I don't know, the Silix hands kill it for me. For cmparison, here is a first generation VCO from Eddie Lee. Perfect in all ways other than the cross. This one has been relumed and has the Double AR from Chieftang. Only thing left is the cross transplant from a Silix dial which is next up.

Here is my Davidsen 202/A. I find that taking a Cape Cod cloth to his finish gives you the desired sheen and gets it closer to the genuine finish.
You know, I think it is but I can't be 100% sure of that. It looks like the black sweat proof layer they put on straps and I'm not 100% sure what that is made of?
