I have an Asian movement Chronoswiss Regulator (Manual movement) that has the same basic layout so yes, it can be done.

I do Got mine from PureTime with no crooked markers. Since then it has had: Swiss 7750 movement swap (with ETA Day/Date wheels) Full SUperlume by Ziggy Chieftang double AR coated crystal.

My favorites - and yes, I never gave much thought to the Da Vinci but these are really nice.
