  1. I just caught this thread myself. It's hysterical. Like a bad spy movie. And who is this "George" character?
  2. I believe that "CAOUTCHOUC" is actually French for Rubber Latex.
  3. Mine has the same text on the keeper back. Good deal at $79. I went the TimeZone route and paid $85. Makes the watch IMO! I have the White Dial and it is an off-white color and pretty accurate.
  4. The Rep numbers are a little skinny compared to the genuine, yes Pug. But, who the hell is going to notice Hey Ziggy, perhaps we can work a deal for yours when I get around to doing some mods to this one.
  5. Mine is Od School. Same Caseback. I'll try to get a good shot tomorrow. Got it from our old friend Paul Ubi
  6. Go to an AD and check the genuine No doubt the Double AR is awesome. Just had 2 done and plan to contribute to the next run as well, but this one is close to genuine AR out of the box. I have handled them at an AD. Ultimately it is personal preference
  7. Well, TTK - What do you think - Panerai's grow on trees
  8. Realy nice Euno. A worthy watch to mod to this level of perfection Not so sure I like your photo background though
  9. The AR that comes on the 3717 crystal is fine as is. I don't see a need to do the Double AR on this model.
  10. I agree. The factory AR is fine
  11. Actually the cross on this one is pretty good and quite close to the genuine. Unlike the current generation dials.
  12. On the current series of Overseas with the Guilloche dial, I have always preferred the White Dial. However, the previous series included a georgeous Black Dial with Arabic numbers. Here she is, reference number 42042/423A-8890, which in Vacheronese is an Overseas Chronometer, steel, black dial with Superluminova arabic numerals, W0-Mart edition Genuine from TZ for comparison:
  13. Me too Bazz! Ubi nailed it, it is hard to describe how the dial just pops right out now Next stop for mine is to Ziggy for the Lello Datewheel change
  14. I caught it yesterday when it was up. THanks for the link Ry. It was "Brilliant" His best yet and less politically biased than others.
  15. Got mine back today. I opted for the movement service over the ETA swap. Love the new Day/Date wheel
  16. Another one saved. That site cracks me up. "Swiss Made" should be the first warning sign to
  17. Back from a fresh Double AR Coat:
  18. The AR on my EL Pilot is fine for me Kruzer. It is definately there so as mentioned, the existing AR would have to be removed first.
  19. Everything has limits, I guess
  20. Looks good on that strap Rolli. Close to the OEM look
