  1. Just ordered my first Red Sub MBW from a mystery seller . Whats even better, is that its coming from within the USA, so i dont have to worry about customs and looooooong delivery times. I should have it friday, so I will post pics accordingly, and you can all have your fun of tearing it to shreds and advising me on what I should or should not do to it
  2. seriously, you never cease to impress me. would you consider building one of your fine pieces for someone else, like ME ?
  3. my friend wrote it, my other friend did the music, what did you think?
  4. I already ordered another watch from Trusty, just getting a feeling for the different dealers since they have all recieved great praise across the board. Josh is the first one I recieved, and he provided top notch. Definatly worth the almost 2 weeks it took to get here
  5. Just to reply to my own post, its amazing how one dealer can provide such an excellent watch, and another can sell you a total piece of crap for the same price. The crap was of course purchased before I joined this community, but still, incredible, gonna post pics with the 2 side by side tonight to really show.
  6. Just recieved my Vintage Explorer II from EMS, it is beautiful. Top quailty piece. Thank you so much Josh for such a fine rep. Will definatly be buying many more to come..... I will post pics tonight!
  7. I agree, Ubi, i think you are an inspiration to those of us who enjoy rep collecting and customizing as a hobby, I am truely inspired by your creations. thank you
  8. I've yet to recieve any of the watches i orders (one from trusy, one from Josh) but from the amount of information i have gotten off this forum, I have nothing but absolute confidence in their products and business. I dont think you have anything to be nervous about, these cats are legit. oh, and remember, a replica is a replica, so of course it wont be EXACT, but the reputable dealers sell ones that look pretty damn close. So breath, and enjoy!!!!
  9. sounds like it, just put together by him instead of the rolex factory
  10. I dont know the relivance of this, but you can also tell that in both photos, the anchors on the left appear to be nickel or nickel plated (the yellowish tint) and the ones on the right chrome or chrome plated (the blueish tint) also the crowns are different, spacing is different, sharper ends on the anchors, etc. just my 2 cents
  11. beautiful!!!! do you just do these projects for a hobby, how'd you get started?
  12. This is pretty much directed at Rolex Rep people. I've seen and read a ton of posts about upgrading rolex reps with gen parts, and i was curious as to how much one would go swapping out rep parts for gen parts. And, being that this is something that interests me, where did some of you start? how did you know what do do to modify you rep, cause i also noticed alot of situations where people increase hole sizes, file cases, etc. Would love to try my hand at doing this, any specific references to getting started, tools, measurments, part suppliers?
  13. Well, i only know one thing about Idealwatches, and that they're junk. shame, oh well, back overseas i go............
  14. yes yes, hardy har, perfect perfect I know its just a name, i dont expect it to be perfect, just want to know if its nice, thats all
  15. I just ordered the Vintage Explorer II from Josh, patiently waiting for it, now i'm looking at the "Perfect SeaDweller" that he's offering and thinking about ordering that one as well. Has anyone laid their actual eyes on this watch, or own it? Please let me know. Thanks
  16. ahahahaha, i think that was the best answer i've seen not even suggesting someone doing it, just curious as to why other countries get away with it, and the US gets slammed
  17. Just curious about why there are no reputable dealers (as far as I can tell) here in the US. Is it because most rep items are manufactured in asia and customs would just seize everything? Just curious, thats all.
  18. I have no friends!!!! haha. whats a guy gotta do to make some friends around here????
  19. I know, i am grateful for the amount of knowledge i have already gained in just a few days on this board. I ordered a watch from Josh a few days again, and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I'm excited for the watch to arrive.
  20. I bought a PAN a few weeks ago from one of the guys next to pearl paint, on the right side. stopped working after about, 2 days. looked good, really good actually, guys i got one of the lemons of the lot. Unfortunatly, getting Rolex from anyone down there is tough these days, cause they're paranoid about getting arrested and having their merch siezed, which i dont blame them, but it would be nice to be able to get a decent one from around the corner from me. any of you nyc members got any good leads for rolex here in the city?
  21. www.eshop168.com is a scam. I dont know if anyone on here has delt with them before, but i ordered a watch from them on August 2nd, they recieved the western union transfer on the 3rd, and its now the 15th. No responses to my emails, nothing, told me it would take 2 days to arrange shipping, and 1-5 days to recieve my order. I even sent them an email saying i would accept it as my loss if they would simply reply that i got scammed, but i did even get that back from them. So if you havent dealt with them before, i would advise against it, and if anyone from eshop168 is on this board, thanks, must feel good to steal from people. Too bad i didnt find this board sooner.
  22. you are a genius, my god.....
