Hey just wanted to know if you tried the red insert out? I am still waiting on parts for mine. Dial got lost in mail form Raffletimes. Just a couple of questions. Did you have any issues using the 2824 in the case, did you need any spacers etc. for the height of the hand pinions or the stem fitting correctly? Also, where did you get that movement ring? Sorry to be a bother I am just sitting and still waiting....
No bother at all my friend ,i used the ruhelena 6538 case in the end they said that i could not fit the 2824-2 in there case without a dial spacer but it fitted ok without , i have the rafflestime red insert on at the moment it fits ok on the ruhelena case and the red insert fits on the raffles/cartel 6538s ok ,the movement ring was supplied with the 6538 case
i had a problem with the height of hand pinions the minute hand was catching on the raised dial markers we fixed this by slightly bending the minute hand upwards to clear the markers it can not be seen at all only with a lobe,
the stem alignment was perfect no problems there
i have also ordered from another ebay seller a gold font red insert just thought it might look great with the guilt dial im waiting for that to come
here is some photos with the red its not fitted properly as i dont have photos with it fitted
got some great tudor boxes from ebay seller gives the finishing touch i think

Hey everyone,
I have been getting questions about beat rates for the various models of the Tudor Submariner.
There was also a debate regarding the beat rate found in the Tudor 9401 Sub. I thought it was 28800, others say it is 21600.
Well, I just received a Tudor Sub 9401 snowflake and can confirm what others were saying. It appears to be 21600 bph. So, with that:
7928: Movement- F390 - bph 18000
7016: Movement- ETA 2483 - bph 18000
7021: Movement- ETA 2484 - bph 18000
9401: Movement- ETA 2776 - bph 21600
9411: Movement- ETA 2784 - bph 28800
76100: Movement- ETA 2824 - bph 28800
79090: Movement- ETA 2824 - bph 28800
Happy building.
Im using an old 2783 eta for my new 94010 its the only movement i had stuck in a drawer that accepts my blueflake dial feet ! its a slow beat movement im not sure if its 18000 or 21600 bph, the beyeler dial will not fit on a 2824-2 or a 2846 due to the dial feet spacing !

Super work . i recieved my cartel 1680 watch and started stripping it down im using the case for my snowflake build unfortunately the bezel assembly fell off the brass retaining ring is missing i am only keeping the case i was planning to reshape the cgs but on this watch the cgs were good and not the stubby type i will fit a 2783 eta in place of the 2846 as the 2846 does not fit my snowflake dial feet i wiil fit a gen crown/tube and clark crystal i will need to do a slight mod to accept the 26mm dial the parts decarded have gone to my watchmaker friend member Georgeloiz for his future projects i thought the redsub dial was nice for a cartel watch !

I'm afraid Ofrei pearls work out very expensive for us in the UK - look at the postage charges. I just got an unpainted pearl from Yuki for my 5513 project. I think this is your best bet moneywise.
I prefer to find an aftermarket insert off ebay that has the correct pearl often for around the same price as the pearl

I just ordered the 2846 trusty 1680 i also used the puretime 1680 for my 5513 these are from the same factory and the watch fits a gen spec dial (26mm) without mods due to the rehaunt ridge shape i believe that this cartel is the best available for small money and with reshaped cgs and gen crown the case is very close to the gen i actually kept the cartel bezel but this can be changed i have ordered a clark crystal so i will find out if it fits soon i have a home made crystal on at the moment your watch does not look like one of these but check to see it it takes a 26mm dial

I think that the seller changed his mind and has the right to remove an item he is selling they may do this if they feel they under priced it , i also if the seller tells ebay for instance that the item is no longer available ,been damaged or not as described ebay would be forced to remove it leaving the seller to relist the item at a higher price later .
these are my thoughts correct me if anyone doesent agree !

Thanks i see you know your thing about tudors thanks for the info !9411 uses a t-125
76100/79090 uses a t-140
9401 uses a t-19

Thanks gavidoc! i have both 2784 and 2824-2 eta,s the dial im using is a 94010 flake i will have to replace the tophat on the cartel case im using i can not find a gen tudor so i will try clark crystal i see so many different crystals dome and flatter types .Originally comes with a Rolex but a Tudor will work.
9401 uses a 2776 which is the no date version of the 2784. A 2784 will work. All subs post the 7xxx designation use a high beat movement. Only the 7928, 7016, and the 7021 use a low beat movement.

Sorry for bombarding you with questions ! did the blueflake 94010 come with tudor clasp and rolex or both? also im planning to use a 2784 eta would this be correct for the 90410 period the 2784 fits the tudor blue flake dial perfectly the case im using for the build has a 2846 eta which correct me if im wrong is not correct for a tudor sub i dont know much about the tudors, thanks in advance ! the 94010 was fitted with rolex logo crown only? You can though I personally would not.

Thanks gavidoc ! so i ca not use the rafflestime clasp on my 94010 build?Original subs Pre 79090 came with Rolex clasps on 9315's with 380b end links.
Modern Tudor replacement is a 78500 with Tudor clasp which is the Tudor 93150 equivalent.
-
Thanks panarai153 ! which watch was fitted with this style rafflestime clasp?Look at the photos of my genuine 9411/0 above. That is a genuine 93150 w/ correct Tudor clasp
