I got two decorated 7750's off of German sellers on ebay, I have one spare for a future project One of them was purchased from this seller in Germany: http://cgi.ebay.de/CHRONOGRAPH-AUTOMATIK-W...1QQcmdZViewItem Communication was a bit tricky, but I managed to do the bank transfer OK, and was very pleased with what I received from him Cheers
-
Cheers Oli, thanks for verifying I just opened the back and saw the anti magnetic cover. I was not aware it had one, it's cool that it does
-
It is as far as I am aware, Oliver never said there was any particular problem with the upgrade Thanks for the kind words guys! I will not AR it if the genuine did not have it, it would be a silly mistake. Here is a picture of the movement used: Keeping perfect time
-
Thanks emuozz Yeah, I was kind of unsure of the AR too. I know it would look even better with double sided AR, as I have it on my Steelfish, but the AR runs offered on this forum are in the USA and I am in the UK One thing that is noticable is the lume, the hands and pearl glow like crazy, but the dial does not. I can live with that though to be honest

I have here one of my favourite watches, the Omega Seamaster chronograph! My good friend Oliver installed a few bits and bobs for me. The Asian 7750 was replaced with a decorated ETA 7750 and the hands were replaced to accommodate that upgrade. The bezel is genuine too, and I also got a gen bracelet off the bay and refinished it to almost new looking condition Here are a few pictures: Comments welcome.......... Cheers

What is this guys ebay details? Does anyone have a link please? Cheers

I see nobody in this thread that has reviewed or purchased anything from this particular seller. At no time did anybody have the clubs in hand, to tell if they were the real deal. Even Kenberg was saying that it was a good idea to order a single club, to check the product first. I was going to purchase a club, but my situation changed and I no longer had the cash spare. I would never dream of laying out a massive amount of cash, with no idea what I might receive. You live and learn I suppose I still would like to see pictures of the clubs though, just so my brother could have a look, he is a golf pro after all....
-
I still can't get my head round the fact that, of all the people who could have ordered, it was you that did. You totally killed the other thread on TRC, with negatives about the ordering/customs issues etc....... Then you lay down over $2000, and your friend about the same probably, if he got two full sets, without even buying a sample club or two first? That's crazy dude :cc_confused:
-
Post some pictures please, I really would like to see what you paid for. I am sure others would too. Also do not drag this thread in the same direction as the thread on TRC.
-
My brother confirmed that titanium head drivers are not magnetic, at least his clubs are not. Have a look here: www.callawaygolf.com/uk.cg.ContactUs.ContactUsNineWays.html It mentions the clubs that should not be magnetic in that link. If the club head was some kind of alloy, depending on the ratio, the clubs may still be magnetic. Cheers
-
My sig is not quite so enlightening How about some pictures of the clubs? I know you may not want to, but I am sure others would like to see what this guy actually shipped out as "gen clubs".
-
You dropped $2000 without buying a sample club first? Are you the same Slay from TRC, who was saying in Kenbergs original thread, more or less, what a bad idea it would be to import clubs, for various reasons? If you are why did you not follow your own advice? I was going to order a driver, with a view to purchasing a full set, if my brother gave the first club the all clear. I still can't believe someone could drop that kind of cash, blind...... Sorry for your loss, maybe you can sell them on as clones, and get some of your cash back?
-
Repaustria (Oli) did the uprade for me, he said it was tough to remove, but he managed to do it
-
Pick up a gen bezel, it fits perfectly Have a look here: http://www.ofrei.com/page663.html#392 It's the part number OME-082SU1360 I have it on my Omega chrono and it looks bloody fantastic!

Your Opinions please Shark on a Steelfish

I would maybe have tried the Hirsch Mobile Leonardo you can see here: http://forums.watchnet.com/index.php?t=tre...27776&rid=0 It's just over half way down in the thread, in blue rubber. Or maybe the Medici version in black leather. There is the alligator version called Principe in blue too, but no pictures. They are cool straps because they fill the lugs unlike any other strap -
Why do people say R*lex Bre*tling, etc?

The Iwc Aquatimer Chronograph Cousteau Divers
Mickey Padge replied to PureTime's topic in The IWC Area
What's all the fuss about? It is a nice watch, but hardly a must have watch. At least not for me anyway, the wooden back looks, well, fake and cheap..... The prices are getting silly for sure, but if people are still buying the watches at these higher prices, then dealers will continue to push them upwards as far as they think they can get away with....... I think I will pass on this one, thank you very much..... -
Hehe, yes that is a good bracelet for sure The end links included were modded for gen springbars too! Just what I needed for my 1680 or 1665 One of them will have to stay with a Nato band, but which one........
-
I thought it was you Justasgood. I saw you follow over to the other link I provided

Perfect Submariner from Josh just came!
Mickey Padge replied to elprimerozen's topic in The Rolex Area
The 300m and Chronometer on the dial do not line up. It is a good place to start modding though, as mentioned... Cheers -
There are always tiny things like that with our watches, but it just adds to part of the watches character
-
Your numbers 15, 30 and 45 look to be centered very well. Sometimes the numbers are engraved slightly out of position to the left or right, closer to the edge of the bezel..... My 30 and 45 are 1 mm ish off center My pearl and triangular point lines up with 12 very well, does yours always sit a tad to the left like that? Cheers
-
Great photos, I have the ETA black dial, on gen black divers strap myself! How are the 15, 30 and 45 markers on the bezel, are they centered? I can't see that from your pictures. Cheers
