  1. Thanks very much for the info I have seen the minute hand jump about while pressing the crown in on a few of my chrono's, but have been fortunate enough to have avoided the dreaded sloppy minute hand syndrome! Cheers
  2. I think you mean: "Thx so much for your help! Raymond" means sarcasm.....
  3. I think rckh is saying that the minute hand is loose and wobbling about all the time. None of my 7750 chrono watches, with the newer highbeat movement, have ever had this problem.
  4. The slow beat 7750 is a poor movement, all the watches I have owned with that movement have had problems. The finish and the parts of the movement are rough and low quality, even after regulating it and servicing it you can still have problems with it. The high beat 7750 is a very good movement, with a higher quality finish, nearing ETA quality. If you had got the high beat version and had it serviced and regulated you would have a great watch. The Zigmeister says the high beat movement when regulated and serviced will last and work like ETA, in most if not all cases. You should have researched this before you purchased the watch. All the information is on this forum. I would say send it back and get the high beat version. When you get it serviced and regulated, your watchsmith will tell you what a better movement it is, if he knows what he is doing. Cheers
  5. You should only buy the older slow beat 7750 movement watch, if you plan to swap it out for an ETA 7750, as the hands should fit the ETA OK. The newer high beat 7750 is a MUCH better movement and should be the one you buy if you do not plan to swap the movement for an ETA, because the hands do not fit. I would send it back and pay the extra for the better high beat movement.... Cheers
  6. On the movement rotor, is the writing engraved, or stickers? Cheers
  7. The chrono buttons are very slightly larger, apart from that it is a very accurate watch. I would recommend instaling an ETA date ring too, makes a big difference to all Asian 7750 watches. Cheers
  8. I have seen first hand an ETA date ring installed on both watches you mention, and it works fine on both and looks perfect. Cheers
  9. I got an email from Paul, it listed his new site as http://www.pam111.com Cheers
  10. That is why he removed them, to get them plated or re-made with a WG finish
  11. I would be at the front of the que for the original gold screws then please!
  12. Thanks for the info Myself I don't really mind what the colour is, but when one is missing, that ruins the watch for sure. I got some tiny screws online, and tried to file them down, but had no success there either....
  13. I thought this watch was meant to have golden screws, not white gold? At least that is what I was told....
  14. Wow that would be so cool if you could, thanks very much I have only worn my watch once, because the screw fell out that first day I still can't see how you removed them, what is the trick?
  15. I have the same watch and one of those little screws fell out and is lost I have been trying to get a replacement with zero luck...... If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful EDIT: How did you remove them? Maybe I could remove one and get a jeweller to make me one?
  16. Yes it is called timezone, make no mention of replicas there though
  17. Would not be a good idea, besides she has a girlfriend now! Nothing to do with me though, I swear!
  18. Hehe, I can't get any more at that price. It was a one shot deal and sold well below cost price!
  19. Well I first met the young lady in my local pub, then I found out where she worked............. Cheers
  20. I sweet talked the young lady at my local AD and got one for
  21. If you have waited more than 48 hours for Ruby to reply, I would re-send the email
  22. The AR is SO good on the Swiss version, that it makes the watch what it is, the genuine watch has it...... When a friend who knows nothing about watches says "Wow it looks like it has no glass" and pokes his finger at the crystal, you realise what a great job they did with this watch. I understand if you do not have the cash, then fair play, go with what you can afford and Ruby's watch IS very good value indeed The non new movements are not in ALL the Swiss Steelfishes by the way.... The movement in my watch keeps perfect time, as does my mates at work who asked me to get him one Something I cannot say of any watch I have owned, that has had an Asian movement in it. They have been unreliable in the extreme and I steer clear of them at any cost. Although saying that, the newer Asian 7750 watches I have owned, all seem to be OK, go figure EDIT: I have not seen the cheaper version TBH, but I know what no AR doesn't look like
  23. You might want to have a look over here then: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=23161&hl= Cheers!
  24. Mineral crystal, no AR, and a poor quality movement........ There is a reason why this version has dropped in price, as mentioned, nobody was buying it..... Compared to the Swiss version, it's not even half as good. I have my black dial Swiss version on a genuine rubber divers strap and it is one of the best watches I own, not best replicas, but best watches. Cheers
  25. What are the A7750 3,6,9 movements like? Has there been a breakdown of this version, or only the 6,9,12 one? Cheers
