I think if that is the only flaw you can spot, you have done very well Most times when buying a rep you will get a few problems or issues, at least that is how it has been for me. If that tiny mark is the only problem with the watch, you should count yourself lucky Like piratedzeus says, it could probably be buffed out with care. Cheers!

I thought The Zigmeister did a break down of the secs@3 movement and gave it a thumbs up? If memory serves me, I thought all the extra gears were jewelled etc... and the general quality of the modifications execution was quite high? He pretty much said it was leaps and bounds better than the other secs@6 movement, no? Cheers

I would not worry about it. I have some water cooling gear coming from the USA and it has been in limbo for a week since leaving the country of origin!

The case has been re-worked to accommodate the different movement, otherwise it's the same...... I would suggest www.silix-prime.com for the best priced SFSO.

It is true that there are very few visable difference between the rep dial and genuine. Obviously the gen has superlume, but new, they can be really hard to find. The ones that you can get hold of are very old in most instances, with faded/brown hour markers. So a relumed rep dial would be a very viable alternative.

Both colours can be correct, I have seen genuines with orange or the deeper red Fantastic watch, you have one up on me as mine does not have the genuine dial, wear it well

The watch had really bad lume application and rubish AR, among other things, it was not what people were expecting. Certainly not what I was looking forward too....... I am sure there would have been a greater amount of posts had the watch been better, but alas it was just another run-of-the-mill average rep.

Wow I missed this thread resurrection The bezel should come off OK, but it is very, VERY hard to do. I did not remove it myself, but I was told it was a very tight fit. You would need the right tools etc..... The genuine bezel will only fit the Asian 7750 watch, with blue dial/bezel. I can't confirm any other versions where this mod might work. Also when you consider the cost involved and how much you can buy the gen for, when I searched all over the UK and europe for one, they were all over

So this is what we have been waiting for? Meh...... Anyone else notice the trustytime website states this watch has "Double AR", when the few pictures I have seen show this not to be true....

Buy this version and the older full AR version and do a dial swap, if you could get a genuine bezel you would have a 99.99% accurate watch! Project anyone?

This looks different to the Steelfish I have seen before........ Whats up with the bezel/pearl and lugs? There is no double AR either The bezel is not cut sharp, the pearl is a big blob and the lugs look like a solid one piece construction...... The dial however looks superb, it even has the curve in the "S" of Superocean. One step forward, two steps back Great pictures as always EDIT: This dial in the older Steelfish with double AR, would be a killer watch.

Well I did say "tritium, or something like it" and it does glow ever so faintly The font looks OK to me and it got Olivers thumbs up too! The dial is WAY better than the stock MBW dial..... Cheers!

I sure will be sorry to see it go, but I am in a tight spot Oliver told me that there was tritium, or something like it, in the dial and hands lume. It glows, but only very, very faintly. As you would expect from what should be a very old dial.
