  1. Yep thats it in a nutshell Maxi markers are found on the Rolex LV Submariner model (green bezel insert), I have never seen them on a gen TT Sub.
  2. Date mag is a bit weak, plus why does it have the larger maxi hour markers? Also I can't see how thick the crystal is.... GEN: For $200 delivered though, it is a good price
  3. Search bar is your friend http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...=vintage+insert
  4. I wonder, will they replicate the date wheel like they did with the Porsche chrono?
  5. Indeed, strange name...... Did this guy EVER deliver a watch? I steered clear due to the old saying "If it looks to good to be true......." WU is also a payment method I would never use... Good luck to those folks who did drop some cash this guys way, I hope it works out OK
  6. This is a sweet watch, with the ETA date wheel installed, it's even better! Good luck with the sale I have this watch myself and have thought about picking up an Omega rubber strap for it, somebody snap this up quick!
  7. My friend has one, and the case back had no gasket/O-ring installed. Also the crown does not screw into a tube, like most watches. This is one rep I would have to highly doubt its waterproofness. Cheers
  8. I agree, the lugless rubber design is unique, on an SS bracelet it is just another watch.......
  9. Just noticed that too! Message reads: "Account Suspended The account owner has been informed regarding this - in case of questions kindly open a support ticket via the control panel."
  10. Most are single, but then, some people double AR their gens too!
  11. Well that is the problem right there, it just bears no close resemblance to the real deal. You would also have to freeze the 6 subdial, as it would track the hour hand. I like my replicas to have a degree of accuracy.... To be honest I would only buy the vintage Daytonas and in fact I have the DW Daytona with black dial and a PN red dial with Swiss ETA7750, both much nicer than that clear case back version and very accurate. I have handled modern Daytonas up close and they are very slim and sleek and hug the wrist really well. The secs@6 watches are much thicker than the real deal, there is no modern Daytona that passes for gen, or that is reliable, unless you franken one for a pretty penny (I would love to own one of them!) If they made a reliable modern Daytona with the right size case etc... with non functioning chronos, but secs@6 I would buy one, but it does not exist. Chreers
  12. Do you have a link to the sales thread please?
  13. You would be better off buying a genuine branded watch, that pays homage to the Daytona style, than the watch you linked too. In my opinion anyway. That Silix Daytona is really poor. Has anyone purchased a secs@6 Daytona and removed all the chrono funcions and frozen the other hands aside from the 6 subdial? That would relieve the stress on the movement no? Hopefully make the watch run OK? That's what I would do if it were me. Cheers
  14. Has anyone requested pictures with the case back removed?
  15. The Daytona watches with seconds at 6 are unreliable in the extreme, I would steer clear of them
  16. Great review and fantastic pictures! I have the same watch, it has not left my wrist since I received it. Pure quality, best rep of 2007 in my book..... Cheers
  17. Chronos function perfectly and reset to 12 each time. In terms of time keeping the watch has proven to be very accurate too Also HikeUSA could you please PM me more pictures from your Sig and avatar
  18. After looking at the back of the case, it seems even the display back has single sided AR! All reflections have the same purple tint the main crystal has! EDIT: Maybe is doesn't actually. At work there was a purple tint, at home there is not. It was just a trick of the light at work
  19. In that case you must think everyone looks emaciated
  20. His height is listed as 5.11" on most sites, and I would hardly call him thin http://img.metro.co.uk/i/pix/2007/01/danie...igL_450x299.jpg
  21. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and you really could have someones eye out with one of those Even the name "Graham" to me is synonymous with things dull and boring. Not like when Homer Simpson changed his name to Max Power
