Yeah it sold within a couple of hours
The new owner will be wearing it sitting down to his lunch tomorrow, can't deliver any quicker than that!
What new watch are out? I have a strong desire to buy a new one! I there such a thing as sellers remorse? Because I think I have it.....
I did a quick review here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=70342
They may look one piece, but I am pretty sure they are held together with three pins (three holes in the dials outer edge) and a tiny amount of glue. I am positive a watchsmith could seperate them.
Another forum member confirmed the three pin theory too, in another similar thread. So unless they have changed how the dials are made you should be fine, Just get an expert to do the job....
If they are the pictures Ruby sent you, then it looks like a sweet watch she has picked out for you!
Finally got mine today, and it is a sweet watch, one of the best reps I have ever purchased
However it is unfortunately to big for me, so I have put it in the sales section
Nice pics dvn! First black dial version I have seen on the forums
How is the case back engraving? Does it have the L.U.C on the back, next to the crown? Which one does yours look like?
Have a look at these pictures:

Too soon to say, it has only been out a short while, but seeing how it is the same, newer, high beat 7750, but with an added regulator, I think we should be OK. It does not have any extra gears or functions added to it, just your standard 6, 9, 12 7750
Fantastic watch enjoy!
Any chance of a movement/display back picture please? I really would like to see if they are shipping the watch with the right engraving..
Cheers!
So much for TTK's close inspection/non drop ship policy.....
I would not settle for that at all, every tick will show that glaring flaw. I would at least request a new second hand to replace the damaged one. Or a refund/exchange inc return delivery costs, if you have no means to swap the hand. The fact he sent you a watch in that condition is 100% TTK's fault, he should cover the postage costs involved...
$100 or not, if you state "personally inspected watches", as part of you sales pitch, then that's what you should do. I fail to see how anyone could miss that flaw, even just glancing at the watch face.....
That's the old version, font is all wrong on the dial and too small round the outer edge. Plus the subdials are black, when they should be a silver colour, getting darker at different angles...
Not bad though, as it is half the cost of the latest version.....
Nor do they have decorated 7750 movements, but would you swap that for an undecorated one too?
HBB watches are very customizable, and you can get pretty much any combination, if you should so wish.
So I don't think it matters in the least....
If you wanted it to look 100% accurate, then order the black/silver subdial watch and a slate dial seperately. Get your local watchsmith to install the slate dial and you are done!
I am sure Angus could sell you the spare dial with the watch...
Cheers!
Gen bezel fits very well! My BCE is being AR'ed right now, but is has a perfect gen bezel installed 100% fine!
I got the bezel by pure luck off ebay....
Seems there are two black dial versions on Kings site. With different display backs...
One seems accurate, but with no regulator:
The other has many flaws, but includes the regulator:

I am going to sit on the fence for a while with this watch, and purchase when I am 100% sure I get the best version...
