  1. Looks like stainless steel, should it not be titanium? Cheers
  2. Maybe here: http://www.cousinsuk.com/ They have more available than they show on their site, might be worth a call. Cheers
  3. Sorry, but I can only find the graphite dial version. Where are the other dial coloured ultimates? Do you have a link? Cheers!
  4. The seconds are running at 9, but they should be running at six on the genuine watch.
  5. The vintage one is very nice looking, but it will probably have the older 7750? I could not say for sure, but you would want the newer 7750 version. The other watch you posted should not have the running seconds at 9. The subdial for running seconds should be at the 6 position for that watch. So the subdial spacing is wrong and the seconds are running in the wrong place. If you just like the look of the watch then buy it for sure, but I would find the errors a dead give away. Cheers
  6. This is probably the most accurate pre 2000 seconds at 9 Daytona I can find here: http://www.wo-mart.com/product_info.php?cP...products_id=625 It has a Swiss 7750 and is expensive, you may be able to get it with an Asian 7750 for a lot less. Notice the thin hour markers, that is correct for the pre 2000 Daytonas. Also the subdials are correct, the 20/40/60 is at nine where it should be, although they are not spaced close together like the gen. Cheers
  7. Don't forget that the gen dot has a 2mm diameter to fit into the bezel insert . So your bezel insert may have to big a hole for the dot. That is what I found out, so then I searched and found the inserts from my thread which have a perfect wit for the gen dots. In fact the original MBW insert also has a 2mm hole, but the font used on the numbers is a tad to bold. Cheers
  8. The dial marker colour looks great to me They match the lume on the hands perfectly. As I mentioned, the thing that catches my eye is the modern pearl. Great watch
  9. Don't forget you can make small adjustments by moving the bracelets position on the clasp, all you need is a tiny pin Glad you figured it out
  10. Both screws need to be removed and you will end up with 3 parts. The part with the tubes, middle section and end part. When you see that they have to go on in order all will become clear I am sure.
  11. Just use a small screw driver to take out the screws and the parts of the bracelet you don't need. Just don't put the middle links back in the wrong spot on the sides because the middle links do not have the countersunk hole for the screws. It is quite easy when you think about it
  12. Well for a more accurate insert and pearl/dot you could have a look here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;#entry156670 There are links in that thread for original pearl/dots and a bezel insert that takes the 2mm gen dots perfectly. Cheers
  13. Great watches Hows the lume aplication on your Breitlings hour markers? Mine was very rough on three of the hour markers. A friend at work now owns it as he is not as fussy as me Cheers
  14. I got the blue dial version, but it had really bad lume aplication on the hour markers I sold it to a friend at work who was not bothered about it. I have heard the white dial version tends to have better lume on the hour markers, but it may just be luck of the draw......... Either way the watch is still VERY impressive indeed! Cheers
  15. OK I have decided not to buy now. I have too many watches. Delete me from any lists please. Cheers and good luck with the GB everyone
  16. Did you try to set the date while the our hand was between the 10 or 2 hour marker? If so that may have broken the movement as you should never do that with any 7750 movement, even Swiss ETA. If it just broke staight away without you doing anything like what I mention, then I think you should have it replaced again, just bad luck really. Cheers
  17. Can you get this watch? I think the model is 1675. Or any other vintage GMT? That would be what I am looking for
  18. I would like to join this group buy please if may I know of a few watches that are available, do we have a list? 1019 Milgauss, 6541 Milgauss, 1665 COMEX/double red/single red/white letter, 1680 Red Letter/white letter, 5512, 5513 Does anyone else have anything to add to that small list? For example are "Bond" Subs available or GMT's etc....... Cheers
  19. Is this the site you are trying? http://www.ems.com.cn/english-main.jsp It works fine for me, although Parcelforce and Royalmail are still down for me. Cheers! EDIT: You beat me to the reply lol. I use Opera for my browsing needs Glad to see you had a good result too
  20. Well there is good news! EMS just updated with this message "Your item was released from Customs(UNITED KINGDOM COVENTRY PF) at 2007-02-15 17:52:00" My heat skipped a beat when I read that lol, would it mention if there was a charge? I can't understand why it took 8 days to clear, that's the longest delay I have ever experienced before. I hope customs haven't put a charge on it thinking it was the real deal Rob1 you may want to check your tracking
  21. If the address was wrong it would still transfer over to parcelforce's system, but I would have a "failed delivery" message. I have had to contact them in the past to complete the address. I have a feeling customs may have it too, but who can say for sure? It could just be delayed, but then how come my trainers went straight through the same airport/customs in only one day? Rob1 are you saying in your post that you have the same message as me on your tracking reference? I hope parcelforce fix their website soon.
  22. That is true, but until it transfers onto their system with their tracking reference they will do nothing about it. I know this because I phoned them before regarding another delivery (not a replica watch) and thats what I was told. Cheers
  23. Parcelforce website seems to be down at the moment, oh well.............. Thanks for all your replies. I really hope that it is a normal delay and that there is no problems I can't contact parcelforce because the tracking reference has not transfered onto their system. It usually transfers over and the tracking reference changes and has a "GB" at the end instead of "CN" When that happens I will have no reason to contact them, as that is what I have been waiting to happen. The reason I posted was because I purchased some shoes from www.style-depot.com that shipped on the 11th and I have already received them before the watch! The shoes went through Coventry too, but much MUCH quicker. If you are interested, the Nike trainers cost about £33 delivered and are perfect! They look genuine to me and most likely they are, as the real trainers are made in China anyway lol. Cheers!
  24. I have a steelfish on the way from Angus and ems tracking states that on the 8th of February it was located in Coventry GB, but since then the tracking information has not changed in any way. That's over 8 days since the package touched down in the UK, has anyone else had such a long delay before? Or do you think someone took a shine to my watch and pocketed it? I know the tracking is not that accurate, but I have never had to wait over a week once the package has hit the UK shores, most times it is in my hands 3 days after touch down. Could customs be sending me a letter as I type? I have sent Angus an email asking him if this was unusual, but as of yet I have received no reply. He is probably busy enjoying the Chinese New Year holiday I suspect Have any other UK members received there Steelfishes after it being sent by Angus on the 6th? Cheers
