  1. Great info indeed I would be hesitant in opening up the watch though because if it is new you need to give it a settle in period. The method I mentioned was told to me by a well know dealer and it did help me regulate my watch. If after you have tried to regulate the watch after a few days and if you have no luck then open up the watch and go for it
  2. Have you found the best position to rest the watch when you are not wearing it? If you find a position that speeds the watch up at night it will correct itself each night. EG: face up/down or crown up/down I have to do the same with my Asian 7750. Also If you find the position that makes it run fast and keep it like that for a few days by winding the watch it may help speed the watch up a bit, especially if the watch is new. Cheers
  3. Good to know Have you reviewed the watch you received from EL, or posted pictures? I would love to see it
  4. If you go for the Yachtmaster go for Eddie lee's version. It has the correct deep red lettering. I ordered one a few days ago
  5. This is the film, no? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0398913/
  6. Sorry I have never liked ANY two tone watches or full gold for that matter. It's what you think that matters though
  7. Ah I see, I miss read the post King is a great dealer. I would be suprised if she was not willing to help you resolve the problem.
  8. Does the hair dryer trick work? I have heard that gently heating the bezel will loosen the glue and allow for the bezel to be turned to the correct position.
  9. I can't believe nobody has mentioned "Jaws" yet. I can watch that film whenever it comes on TV.....
  10. What watch did you purchase? I hope you get it and that its a fantastic replica
  11. My fault anyway as my post came across as if this was the finished article. As Oliver mentions he has only just started I think the hour markers should show a little texture etc..... If it was smooth it would not be realistic.
  12. So it begins! Oliver has kindly sent me a couple of pictures to show me how he is aging the dial. Starting with the hour markers. Here they are: Oliver compared my dial to a genuine 5512 and then tried to emulate it as best he could. I think he did a fantastic job! What do you guys think? Cheers
  13. No reply so far I don't think I will get one somehow
  14. He was veiwing this thread at the time I posted and I thought the 5 watches that he had might sell out
  15. I have seen many people wearing modern subs, be they real or fake. I can't recall ever seeing a vintage sub on anyone, for that reason alone I would keep it
  16. TTK please reply to my email I sent it an hour ago and followed your rules to the letter Cheers EDIT: Got the reply, thanks TTK
  17. Beautiful watch Where are they shipped from if I ordered, UK? So tempted EDIT: Delivered from Asia
  18. I know I will Due to the fantastic support I have received here, I have just added myself as a RWG supporter
  19. Yep you can see the screws here on Rivers pictures: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=12389 I would not call it a major flaw. A major flaw for me would be something incorrect on the dial or watch case etc... I can live with it having screws instead of pins, after all its $239 delivered
  20. Shows how much I know............. I thought it was the flux capacitor playing up again
  21. He has it listed in his dealer section, last time I looked it said $239 inc delivery. This is going to be my next purchase I feel The Tag chrono I got from river was fantastic, he is one of the best dealers we have here for sure Cheers!
  22. Same error accessing for me too. Has anyone told them over on the forum about this? Cheers
  23. Thanks ubiquitous, I have PM'ed them both The more I look at the watch, the more I like it It is definitely the best replica I have purchased. With the mods done and a little clean, it would be fantastic to say the least I really hope they can help
