Just got this piece back from Domi, after some serious work to get her back up and running again, thanks very much Domi for your excellent service and help in this matter! This is a DW vintage Daytona, with a slightly different bezel I sourced, and an aftermarket crown and tube. The watch uses a manual wind 7750, Domi did his magic there, removing the auto parts and installing manual wind ones Not sure how accurate it is, in fact it probably isn't true to any gen, but it has a set of parts that I like best! On to the pictures, click to expand: I am very happy to finally have this watch on my wrist and working, even more so when you consider it was a member sale gone wrong, sorry to the peeps that ended up with nothing, at least I was lucky and received a watch at all, even a broken beat up one..... Mary just sent some photos of my watch, looked fine to me, but she spotted a flaw with the ceramic case, and promptly sent it back to the factory for replacement! Quality service as always from Mary

I won't buy from the twins ever again, zero QC and drop ship all the way, each and every time. I see no reason to buy from them at all, the same watches can be sourced from other dealers, who inspect each watch and send pictures of the watch you will receive before delivery.... My last purchase from Mary was a fantastic Chopard chronograph, just over $100 less than the cartel dealers, and full QC/pictures before delivery to boot, can't be beat Cheers!

Yep, thread closed over on Repgeeks, and I will probably be banned PWC even went so far as saying I get cut cheaper deals by dealers, so I can sell them on the boards for a profit! You are buying from the wrong people then! Personally I buy Asian clone watches whenever possible, not ETA for this exact reason, aside from the absolutely terrible quality "Rolex style" movements, as they are overpriced to the extreme and fall apart/break at the drop of a hat..... As mentioned though, find the right dealer, find the right watch

You could always visit the the world renown Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew, and maybe other places like Hampton court palace, if that is your kind of thing. Both not far from central London and well worth a visit on a sunny summers day, both close to where I live in Richmond As for watches, you will be spoilt for choice in central London shopping wise

Probably the same for any clasp that is gold plated, it will wear eventually, but for the opposite reason this is why we like the full ceramic gold watch
