yeah i heard it is because of the cost of making the case , they r supposed to be using the same steel in them as genuine , and the sapphire crsystal they r using is like double the size of normal ones , also the extra stuff like good ar coating , and the braclet is supposed to be better made with better thicker steel, lol so that is there reasoning i guess , oh well i have two coming and i paid a tad more than that actually , supply and demand i guess, mine should be here in a few days i hope i will share them with u ok joe

i think its just as good as any at the price range , the only much better ones r watchmasters and mbw ones they coast over double that imho for the money and u r not overly picky they r not so bad hope this helps joe

u probably can put thicker pins in and it will snug the bracelet up or bend the one u have but thicker will be the better cure , that is the problem with all reps they have those cheap easy to bend pins in them , as for your date issue , i have the asian and the swiss and mine r ok , not perfect but usually gen. breitling isnt either, i own the shark with 7750 in gen. and the numbers sit low in the window as well, , i never messed with it cause it is gen. u may could move the dial a bit to make it better , but if it some r off line and some r ok then it is the print on the datewheel itself , the only fix then is change datewheels , but i assume my swiss model has the genuine eta date font and they r not as good aligned as the asian one, so go figure, they r not bad enough to bother me personally , just because genuine does the same thing , lol but if u can see the other number then i couldnt live with that , also u said it is ok when u change date with crown then i would say your datewheel is getting hung up when working on its on hope this helps joe

thanks , i was thinking this but didnt want to say it and it doesnt matter hand picked or not , im definitely removing the dial and movment before i watertest it , im not stupid , lmao or should i do it with the dial and movment ? hmmm i might should being he wants me to , what do i have to risk? also i may trade one of mine , i ordered white dial and blue because i couldnt make up my mind which one i liked best , lol also the BCE hasnt been watertested yet, but i did after i tightened things up and greased it up put it in the shower with me and soaped it down and drenched it in hot water and it came out shiney and fine enjoy the hobby not the drama guys joe

hey he just asked me to water test it and tell what i think of the quality people, its not about a system, its about a dealer asked me to check it out , i guess it is because i bought a couple of them , a simple thanks for being the guinea pig would suffice though but i felt he was cool for asking me to do that in open forum, to me shows he must think it is a good one , he didnt ask me really on the BCE but i did it anyway and still loving it joe

Angus asked me to do a complete breakdown of this watch (steelfish superocean)and test it in my bergeon water pressure chamber and told him i would have done that anyway for all my friends here , he said he jsut wanted to make sure someone unbias would do the checks as he already did to insure people would get a quality piece, now i dont know about yall but that made me realize what kind of dealer he really is , so anyway that is what is going to happen, soon as it arrives , im likeing the steelfish but i could see it being nicer than my BCE and i did a breakdown of that piece for all soon as it arrived , but i can tell u this if the steelfish is anything like the BCE then it is one hell of a watch my only thing is i usually dont buy a rep unless the genuine is over 2 grand but this piece is so nice looking i cant see buying the gen. in it and probably will be the only 2 grand watch i have in my collection, lol ask me questions at will but im leaving for dinner and will back later ok joe

all i can add to this is that , i was told the same maker of the BCE made this one with a genuine to copy by (same as the BCE) and i have the BCE and it one of the nicest reps i own today , so i feel this one will be of same quality , expecially at this price it better be , lol joe

Angus said he would source me a new winder and send it out soon as he does, so no worries, my brother probably will be getting my asian one anyways, he loves it , hell he is worse than me over it , lmao for the record , the asian chronos have been running stopping and starting since day one and still resets perfect everytime , but i still if u can i would recommend the swiss always before the asian but the asian is holding its own so far joe

just so u know i had the one with asian and man that watch is like wearing a brick on your wrist , it measures small but the thickness and lenght made it wear much larger to me just my two cents joe

i think u should go for the graphite , its fantastic and the red auto matic just makes even nicer but not too out there imho just my 2 cents i would hate to see u get the grey dial if u think it is way off in color joe

appears both have same font on datewheel, the problem is told by me is that if u switch the movment u will have to buy his package which includes a dial and handset to fit the swiss 7750 , and the price isnt worth that and the changeout imo, u should just buy the watch with it already installed imho joe btw. thanks for the appreciation to everyone

well hard to say on chrono, but my suggestion is to open all valves and if u can take the caseback off do so , make sure there isnt alot of sealant on the orings first ,if it looks like ther may have gotten some on the inside of the case then wipe it out , probably not the case but u never know, lol then let it dry out good with the back off , or if u dont get the back off , run a warm hair dryer over it not hot ok till it goes away , let it sit and then close all openings good and see if that took care of it, more than likely when assembled some air got trapped in the case and or some type of sealant has created some moisture in it ,make sure once it is out to tighten that caseback down good and snug hope this helps, lmk via pm/email if u need more assistance ok joe
