  1. You need a Tropic 127 for a 1680 and the Inserts have the same measurement
  2. Interesting Post for shure Lani thank you. But I don't believe the manufactures use what the dealers stated. They claim 316L and now 316F. So can we trust them about the material? Who knows really?!? I've handeled various Rolex Reps to mod and most where different in Steel. Some really hard in metal, some really soft and this on the same Modell. I think we need a specialist to analyse the material to clear the facts. But this is onl my opinion. But again head up for your really great Posts Lani
  3. As I stated before I like the idea of making Custom Dials. Yours look really great Congrats again to your fantastic work on the Dial.
  4. Really nice Tudor. Congrats to you
  5. You bought a 702 Tube and Crown?!? That's sound so easy. A lot of us are searching them long time. Sounds like a great project keep us updated
  6. Hey Laz, what a fantastic post ! Also some really great watches in your collection some of them I've seen in flesh. I see your gen collection grow up more and more fantastic really great write up my friend hope to read more soon. ... and hope to see you soon again too U know watches and some drinks hehe.
  7. The Bezel teeth must be overworked for shure.....
  8. Hello Gang, I think you all forget that the no date Sub has smaller Dial like the SD. Also the Crystal is smaller in Diameter as the 16610. So the Case must completly new designed to get it right. Also the Bezel is smaller and the Insert of course too. A SD Insert fit the no date Sub a 16610 one not.

    1665 Revisited

Really a fantastic piece! Nice and clean Mods I like it a lot. Btw also fantastic Pics. Congrats to this beauty
  10. Pressured works good for dust etc. If you have some dirt or smear on the surface try alcohol (u can get in a Drugstore) works good for me.
  11. As Frank stated you have to work the Cg's inside and out. Outside a dremel will work fine with a rounded sanpaper tool in it. Inside I prefer some small file to get the right sharp shape. Reinstall the case tube to work inside, than you have more control of what you do
  12. To me the crown position looks much lower on this Rep beside the MBW 1665. Also the lugholes look too low in my opinion but it's really hard to judge from the pics
  13. Yepp me too I noticed that the Rehaut engraving is different compared to gen. Anyway hope they solve the problem.
  14. Wow glows really bright Vac did a great job. Congrats to this beauty
  15. Thats Factory Pics. I have seen those Pics from different Dealers So it's legit.
  16. Damn sorry to hear this..... as Stephane stated the DW Daytonas are damn bad constructed watches from factory or DW him self.. The Chrono hands are pain in the ass.... Too bad my friend
  17. Yep can only agree, it's the same thin metal overlay like allways with flat top threes. I wonder about the siver color of this overlay. There will be be no sunburst design like on the gen ones. But it's a step forward. Hope to see this in flesh soon.
  18. That's the chinese copy of the MBW for shure. Puretime sold them in the past with the clone movement. Cheers Tribal
