Go for WM9. On a Noob Sub a gen Insert won't fit.

maybe a question of taste. The V3 is a great watch for shure. The Eta 2824 instead of the 2876 is a nice update. Both movements are good. The flaws for me are the recessed Crown and the wrong shaped Bezel. The gap between the SEL's and the Case is mostly solved. But I don't like the new shape of the Sel. The Insert is the V2 one I think it is not updated. So it's your choice which modell you buy.

Nice hope they will do a good job. Everytime they say made from a genuine as sample I'm a bit sceptical

Great that it works also four you. Just an easy swap as I told before. Believe me looks much better than the V3

Great work. A lathe is really great to have I shaved the bezel from my old MBW in the past to fit a gen insert.

So best solution is buy a Eta 2836,new hands and replace it with the shitty DG.

Thanks, you are right step foward step back. WM9 must do something about the recessed Crown for shure. The V3 Bezel is a compromise in my opinion they shaped the bottom line in that way that the crown don't touch the bezel. But bezel teath are way off. Also the SEL's are a step back. All other is fine.

the tiny 2876 is a workhorse and has the same Specs as the Eta 2836. The swap is not really needed in my opinion. But I like a mens movement in my watch

Hello Gang, after I received the V3 and I don't like the recessed Crown assembly and some other small issues I experimented to put the Eta 2824 assembly in my V2 Case.... What can I say, it was an easy swap,The stem alligned centered (maybe why I installed a gen Tube on the Case)... The Gen Insert is shaved and sits nice recessed on the Bezel and the best thing it snaps in no glue is needed. So Specs are follow V2 case also V2 Bezel Eta 2824 movement,Dial,hands,etc... Gen Insert Gen Tube and Crown Gen Crystal shorted the CG's a bit other SEL's with shaped and rounded middle link Hollow midlinks and WM9 Clasp Here are the Pics For me It looks better than the V3 Case Here are the Pics Look how well BK centered the Datewheel Gen Crown and Tube installed Side view Front view Gen Crystal Gen Insert Crown position Lume in daylight installed Eta 2824 in the V2 Case Other Shots Forgive some dust and Fingerprints on the watch

Great comparsion thank you. It's a great watch for shure I own the V3 also. For me the Bezel is a bit off the teeth are too small in my opinion also the bottom shape is different. On mine a Gen Insert won't snap in,but I think there are variations. The Tube is too much recessed on the Case while there is a bit too much material shaped in this Area. The SEL's are bad machined in my opinion they are not curved enough in the middle and a bit too long.fitting on the Case can be better. Case Tube is also not the best,on the SSD the Rep tube is much better. The Crown is nice All in all a nice watch for shure but WM9 need to take care of the flaws.

On mine V2 Case is a gen Tube installed and I tested if the the stem is centered. So there is no trouble in stressing the movement at all. Maybe a effect of the new designed movement holder.

Yes a Eta 2836 will fit. The 2876 is a workhorse and will work for a long time. Btw the 2824 fit the V2 Case also.

A nice gadget for shure but no flash support is a no go for a Internet table. I thought they bring up a new Iphone too but this will be next year

On mine V3 the Gen Insert is loose On my V2 Case the shaved gen Insert snaps in. I also installed a gen Crystal and gen Tube and Crown on it. For this small difference in Crown height it's not worth to Mod the V3. As i told before I installed the 2824 in my V2 with no problem. Will Post some Pics of this one the days.

BTW also the Crownguards have a other shape thy are more curved on the bottom. This gives the visually illusion that the Crown is more centered

No there is too much material off where the Tube is located thats it.... The Bezel teeth are way to small and they use a other shape at the bottom side as it was done on the SSD V2. Visually the Bezel looks thicker but it is not...

Thanks mate, but now tell me how stupid is that? Much work for a new case and they claim they have a gen as sample.. How hard it is to make it 1:1? The Sub is a simple constructed watch !! Can't believe they didn't notice this simple flaws.... BTW the Crown don't fit a gen Tube also... There are aftermarket Tubes around the web and they are way better... I don't say its a bad watch,no its nice but a step back in my opinion...
