Hey Laz,
what a fantastic post !
Also some really great watches in your collection some of them I've
seen in flesh.
I see your gen collection grow up more and more fantastic
really great write up my friend hope to read more soon.
... and hope to see you soon again too
U know watches and some drinks hehe.
Hello Gang,
I think you all forget that the no date Sub has smaller Dial like the SD.
Also the Crystal is smaller in Diameter as the 16610.
So the Case must completly new designed to get it right.
Also the Bezel is smaller and the Insert of course too.
A SD Insert fit the no date Sub a 16610 one not.
As Frank stated you have to work the Cg's inside and out.
Outside a dremel will work fine with a rounded sanpaper tool in it.
Inside I prefer some small file to get the right sharp shape.
Reinstall the case tube to work inside, than you have more control
of what you do
To me the crown position looks much lower on this Rep
beside the MBW 1665.
Also the lugholes look too low in my opinion
but it's really hard to judge from the pics
Damn sorry to hear this.....
as Stephane stated the DW Daytonas are damn bad constructed watches from factory or DW him self..
The Chrono hands are pain in the ass....
Too bad my friend
Yep can only agree,
it's the same thin metal overlay like allways with flat top threes.
I wonder about the siver color of this overlay.
There will be be no sunburst design like on the gen ones.
But it's a step forward.
Hope to see this in flesh soon.
Sorry to say but your No Date Sub is completly wrong,
because the Dial must be smaller also Crystal.
It has the same Diameter as the SD.
Also the Bezel is smaller on a 14600 No date Sub.
I have never seen a Rep with correct dimensions on this
Cheers Tribal
