  1. I think it's a vintage crown for Submariner or SD,there was a tube for this one... With no gasket outline... Look here.. I think Randy is right about this Ref. 24-702 (Coronet w/ 3 dots; no external gasket tube) 1973 - 1984. Hope this helps

  3. I'm interested in your expierience of lugholedrilling too... On my Franken the Lugholes where correct.... I think thats a TW case problem,i've heard this often... By the way Lion, when you drill out the hole for the tube... Drill in more steps,because the material on the caseback is thin... RG Tribal

  5. Yepp, the Insert is gen,hardly to find with the fat numbers.. Its an New Old Stock Insert for the 1665...
  6. Yes,I'm shure... A friend has a new 1680 Whitescribe with this movement... In meantime i'm collecting parts to mod it... I make a tutorial of the wach when it is in my hands...

  8. Hello Gang, has anybody notice,that the newer WM 1680 has a other movement installed? It's a ETA 2846 nickelplated with 21 Jewel an 21 600 BPH... Power reserve 49 h Same beat as Gen one...

  17. ´Great work, looks damm good... It's a great idea to take a plastic spacer to pull down the retainingring.. I do it the same way... the caseback looks much better yet.. Fantastic work ,i love it.

  19. After i relumed the Dial of my 1680, i decided to refinsh the Markers to a creamy and sandy look.. like aged Tritium.. I sanded the markers a little bit... Thats the result What do you think?
  20. Hello, you must sand it with 1000er sandpaper,than you need to polish with a good Polishwax... Thats it..
