  1. As far as the leather straps that are bought for Panerai, Id go as much as $150.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/PANERAI-PAM-217-47-MM-...1QQcmdZViewItem
  3. If Ubi can get an accurate dial, that would be the best rep ever. I love the YM.
  4. Id go with the Omega, but thats just because the rep YM dial bothers me
  5. I was being serious. I thought that your costs were dependent on how much bandwitch you have to host. I guess not!
  6. Honest comment here: maybe instead of trying to raise revenue perhaps the strategy should be to cut costs. Are four "Off Topic" forums needed?
  7. Yea I got that... I was just wondering if there was a known quantative difference. For example, without a swan neck a watch would run 10 seconds off or something. But Im sure that depends on the movement
  8. Im glad that someone else is learning this too. Sometimes I feel like I ask really obvious questions If a movement is made without a swan neck, does the movement suffer? Does it perform significantly worse?
  9. I checked the glossary in the knowledge base, but it is not listed. What does the term swan neck mean? What are its benefits? thanks!!!!
  10. Im glad to see there is another Stern fan on this board
  11. Yep it is. They are talking about it now. Its pretty random that I posted this and now they are talking about it. Apparently he is a big watch fan. His sister picked that one out for him.
  12. I was just wondering if it actually looked like that. I thought that Wo Mart may be advertising a movement like that, but it doesnt actually come like that. Similar to what TJGladeRaider mentioned, I was simply wondering if you get what is advertised. However, we are dealing with replica, and appearance does matter to a lot of people whether it is accurate or not. If you didnt care about a brand's logo on a dial, crown, movement, etc, you would be at a Timex forum. So saying that an extra $20 is for the ignorant, would you also say that playing $200 for a fake watch is for the ignorant?
  13. This is Artie Lange from the Howard Stern show. Ive seen pictures of him wearing a Tag. I cant tell what this is though.
  14. Good to know. Ive never been there, so that makes sense.
  15. Someone on the board said that owning reps in the US isnt illegal. Is that not the case?
  16. Thanks, I knew I should have checked the photo section here instead of looking for the gen through Google.
  17. Could someone post a picture of this million dollar watch? I was searching for it, but I dont think I found it.
  18. haha great story. I used to work at a very well known investment banking firm, and my boss wore an IWC on a regular basis. There was no doubt that it was gen, and a man at his position could easily afford one. I couldnt agree more that you must buy a gen that matches your personality and income.
