  1. To be honest with you, I think those are really ugly straps. But thats just me...
  2. Ive never worn a Panerai with a metal Strap. I dont think it looks that great, the metal strap kinda loses the sig. look of Panerai, in my opinion.
  3. For all packages I track coming into the US, I always use this link with great accuracy: http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSInternetWeb/index.jsp Note: this is the exact link within USPS
  4. After having my first rep Panerai for a month, Ive realized this is the most comfortable watch Ive ever worn. The PAM just feels right on my wrist, even better than gen rolex. Is it just me, or do these Panerai just fit really well? ya know, like they are perfect for your wrist? It makes me want to save up for a gen PAM. By the way, I have the PAM 217. At $8,000-$10,000 for the gen, I think Ill consider a different model if I get a gen
  5. Does anyone have experience with their vintage line? I really like these straps. http://www.strap-works.com/vintage.htm
  6. It would be great to have an AR and lume services in AZ !!
  7. This is how it is with me too. No one would assume Im wearing a fake watch. I dont think Ive ever been asked by anyone. That being said, I wouldnt walk into an AD with a rep on.
  8. Thats a nice strap!! Unfortunately, they are sold out of that strap. Im sure this Ill be buying a lot of straps, so Cordovan will definately be on my radar. I bought a 1950 Black calf with white stitching from Strap-Works. I wanted something that looked similiar to the strap the watch came with, but of better quality.
  9. For me, that was the reason I bought it. Im left handed, and I wear my watch on my right hand.
  10. thanks for posting a desktop sized picture
  11. I got it from Trusty Time. Great dealer! The movement looks pretty good; unfortunately, my pictures of the movement didnt come out well. Im still trying to get used to the size. The largest watch Ive worn until now has been my subs.
  12. Panerai 217H Destro 47mm This is, by far, the largest watch Ive ever worn, and its a beast! Im impressed with the quality for the price. Obviously, the strap needs to be replaced though. I plan on putting about $100-$125 into a strap from Strap-Works or Europelli.
  13. Exactly. This is a global forum. Any comment like the "foreign [censored]s" isnt needed. But comments like... ...doesnt show your burgeoning intelligence either.
  14. Im waiting on one right now note: It was $20 in the US
  15. I assumed everyone here were fans of watches in general. If everyone is so averse to gens, then why do you agonize over the most minute imperfection? Why do you spend every waking moment concerned that it doesn't look like the gen (which you don't like to begin with)?
  16. ...because this is the first time ive heard of this ^^^!
  17. EVERYONE DOES THAT WITH REPLICAS MADE IN ASIA !!!!! fair enough.
