I don't know about other countries, but it takes 5 to 7 days for a package from China to arrive in the US. Most have arrived to me in 7 days. Once it leaves China, there will be no log entries on the site until the package arrives at customs in the destination country. That is because the package is in transit.

I got lucky. The case should have been ruined. I hope it never happens again I can't imagine what it would have been like if it was a gen case that I was working on!

I used cutting oil, backed the tap in and out ... did everything I was supposed to do. I have done these many times before. The gd thing just snapped with no warning!

No, other than file them down a little, that is how they were. I think the angle of the pic makes them look to be more hollowed out. It does not look like that in person. This is definitely an MBW case.

How hard to you think it was to get that little piece out of the hole???

I have read that due to the crown position, a 1680 is not a good choice. Is this true? Does the movement drop in a 1665? Does the gen dial need to be shaved to fit in the case? What other problems/challenges do I need to consider? Thanks. Marty
