  1. Best looking clone I've seen. Then, I don't see nearly as many movements as you do!
  2. Based on this review, I'm going to try to pick up the black dial on rubber. May not be the most accurate thing in the world, but it's going to be a HECK of a weekend beater!
  3. No way W would relume that beauty. Looks great, Kruz. A project that's definitely been worth the time, money and effort.
  4. Looks great. You got a good dial. Enjoy it, dude.
  5. This is good to know. Bottom line, be gentle until maybe the zig meister can glue them in permanently. Better than mine, though. The movement didn't work for [censored]. Had to go straight to a watchmaker. Which seemed easier than sending it back to China.
  6. Very nice pics. Thanks for sharing. They've done a great job with this one.
  7. Very, very cool. The price looks amazing. Crown guard and crown are really well done.
  8. Running 45 minutes a day slow. That tells me it was magnetized in transit, but either way, needs to be looked at. My lume dots are pretty bang on, and the watch looks good otherwise. I mean, other than it's a paperweight at this point.
  9. That HK tan is the BALLS. All very nice pictures.
  10. I betcha anything Zig could fix that by scraping off the old lume and putting new lume on it. Grand scheme... not a big deal if the rest of the watch is as solid as it looks.
  11. Looks pretty good me. Thanks for sharing. It's true, though. There look to be a few little tiny errors on the dial. The 1 in "10" is a bit wonky, and the lume dot on 4 is a little out of place. I bet there will be little variations for each watch. I think, though, that overall the execution is excellent. The date font looks great, the crystal is beautiful. The dial is a great color grey (same watch as I purchased, as well). So it's very, very nice.
  12. Posting to subscribe to the thread. Can't wait to see the pictures!
  13. Let me suggest to you that it may have been magnetized. In this case, any watchmaker can likely fix it in under five minutes. They all have tool they use to de-magnetize the watch, and they don't even have to open it. It's also possible that it has been over-oiled and some of it has gotten onto the spring. In this case, it WILL need to be serviced. I would suggest getting it de-magnetized first before you send the watch off for service.
  14. This watch would cause me to embrace the Dark Side of the Force. Luke was a pu$$y anyways....
  15. So that's really Angus? I didn't realize he tested the watches.
  16. The HK tan is beautiful. No doubt.
  17. Must..... resist...... until ....... reviews.....
  18. Again, I think you have a valid point. It was never my intent to needlessly complain.
  19. KICK ASS! That is cool. Might I impose upon you to PM me where you got it (or state it here if it isn't poor form)?
