My franken 1680

Hi, thanks to "highoe" for i think the best case for cheap money you can get. Hope you make more of them. I have only polished it a bit and changed the bezel with MBK ones. With a little bit of aging and trim the cg its really a nice case. Thanks again mystere

I have 2846 with Gen silver datewheel as overlay in my 1680. Looks good, but turns counterclockwise. No Problem, need to set date manualy. Shiiiit, forgot that date on 3135 turns clockwise, Same as eta. So no improvment. Was my fault, sorry. Topic can be deleted. Thanks

hi, have a 1680 case thats fit 1570 movement, high crown position. is it possible to fit in A3135 movement? have found out 1570 is 28,3mm 5,7mm high, and 3135 is 28.5mm 6mm high. stem high? is it possible with a little mod to the case to fit a3135 movement? is the stem alignment ok, or is it completely off? thanks for help mystere

Yes, to me , i'm really happy. Gen dial is ready to go in this case. The MBK 1680 you need to enlarge the groove for dial, than enlarge the rehaut and i think the rehaut is to high, so you have to thin it from inside the case to get better genuine look. its all possible, but without a lathe its not so easy. Thanks to highoeyazmuhudee for the nice case.

All started two years ago. My fathers gen panerai needs new crystal, so i searched the web for part. I not found the crystal but RWG . My first rep was 116610ln, have wear it 2-3 times, but after read, read, read and read again (to much read ) on rwg. To many moded and nice frankens from members. So i donate the 116610 to a friend and bought a WMBKv2 from member, new gen crystal and destroyed it by installation , [censored]. Gen crown, [censored] again the keyless. So i read, read and read again, ordered the right tools and destroyed 3-4 movements but finally i learned with lot of patience to repair the keyless work (yippie). The resultate from reading to much on RWG its on the pics :) sorry for my poor english Thanks mystere

Hi, its MBK from REG with gen dial, insert, crown, yuki pearl and tc hands that i tried to age with stinky cigarette smoke nicotine to match the dial. Yet that i see the big pics i think i trimm the crownguards a little bit more. mystere

I have a lot of parts left from daytona build, inclusive a val72 movement that needs service. I think if i find a nice and not so expensive gen silver dial i go for 6263. So next year 6263? but for sure 1675 pepsi.

do you use phong case or 1655 cartel case?

Daytona is all gen, only midcase, caseback and chrono pushers are from DW.

Hi, this year finished the funds for rep mania. Need to stop hunting parts as a junkie without drugs. maybe next year i start again, for a nice 1675. This hobby is realy dangerous, you buy a stock rep than you want gen crystal, crown, insert. Than you want better dial, a better dw overlay. my wife thinks im crazy, better to make a long break. Cutted the feet. Gen movement are to expensive. I think if you put Gen movement maybe its better to buy complete genuine watch. mystere

Have it relumed maybe Ten times ;-( and finaly last try i have found light ivory cream lume. than sprayed it matt clear. Yes Need to set date every day, but so i can play with the toy watch. :-)) mystere
