  1. Congratulations on your purchase Get some photos up so we can all enjoy it with you.
  2. Check this guy out... http://stores.ebay.com/GADGET-BESTBUY His cushions seem very "squishy" and you cant beat the price.
  3. Coulthard is one to talk, Im sure. I could be wrong but, when Coulthard was racing for mcLaren, wasnt there something written about him and a little drinking habit? I might be wrong so forgive me if that is incorrect. Either way, I get up at 6am every Sunday to watch F1 live as it is not as big in the States as Nascar so the network stations do not televise it. maybe I can get up to montreal in June to catch it there. Forza Ferrari!!!
  4. I have heard that kangaroos are very strong animals. By the looks of those photos and those tails, I beleive it. This isnt considered a post, is it? I hope not. I dont want to break any rules.
  5. Sorry to hear about your back pain. I dont wish that on anyone. Im sure that the supplier will know about shaft flex. It is also written on every shaft as well.
  6. Ken Shaft flex is what I do when my wife is out of town Actually a club has a degree of flex in it to aid the ball in getting in the air. Depending on your swing speed, the flex can be stiff (fast swing), all the way to Senior (slowest swing) with regular and womens in between. You should get out on the course and play a little. It really is a relaxing game.
  7. Im a real big Ferrari fan and have been for most of my life. That being said, I think Alonso can be the next Michael Schumaker of the sport by his performance last year. So I say Alonso wins two more races than Massa and it comes down to the last two races for the Constructor trophy. (Ferrari by a nose )
  8. I just got home from work and saw that I shouldnt post here. I would like everyone to know that Im not posting here like it says not to.
  9. Bertieng- I as well as the rest of the members on this post are sure that you sent the money to EL. I dont think thats what they are "flaming" you for. its just that the "Where's El" question has been raised and answered more than "whats the best rep" questions recently and they were just hoping they would not have to keep repeating themselves over and over. Now...get yourself a steak knife and help yourself to El's leftover steak dinner that he's enjoying
  10. I just noticed that I have VIP status under my name...thats why I love coming to this board. It is very appreciated by me and all of the others Im sure. Steve
  11. What language does he speak?
  12. Great... Just what I needed, another reason to spend a few hundred dollars that I dont have every month. Im sure my wife will be very excited Seriously, Ken...I would be interested if this gets off the ground. Im in the market for a new driver and fairway woods. I would rather give my money to you than some of these overpriced golf shops here in the NorthEast US.
  13. I was never a fan of gold or tt watches before, but this one looks great. I agree that some of the rep manufacturers should take a good hard look at this example and think about an all stainless version like it. Again, great looking watch.
  14. I did explore the idea of him possibly making a better quality rep as we see on these sites but CrystalCranium is right. His jewelry manufacturing company produces product for several large national stores here in the US. He said the watch business is something that he does to sell to the dealers at the night markets and such. As some of you will know, in HK there are dozens of shops that carrry high end watches. All of them genuine and they have some beautiful timepieces. A number of them will customize the watch with diamonds and gemstones for an additional cost. He started a company that sells the service of manufacturing diamond and gemstone bezels for ANY watch brand out there. I guess you could say that he is a real entrepeneur. When I speak with him again I will talk further about possibly entering the hi-end rep game. Steve
  15. I just had dinner with my old boss. He is from Hong Kong and he owns a jewelry mfg. company there and in China. (Guangzhou Guangdong China) We got to talking about watches and such and he handed me his "new" Yachtmaster to check out. I had never really seen one before up close and was pretty impressed until I unscrewed the crown and viola...no hacking motion. I looked at him and he smirked at me. He said that he and his cousin started a business that manufactures replicas. Now granted...his replica had no hacking motion on his Yachtmaster so Im sure the quality is not of that for the readers of these forums. But none-the-less, its kind of cool to know that he makes them. I have no idea why I thought you all would want to know this information but...it just got me excited to think that he might be able to someday be the next supplier of :the next big thing in reps" Thanks all... Steve
  16. Just add a gen chocolate strap and were good. Thanks ryaku!!
  17. My good friend is an AD here in New England and he is sporting the new Carrera Chocolate Chrono. I think this is a great looking watch and I hope it makes it to the rep market someday.
  18. Angus, Pardon my ignorance for asking this. On the white dial BB, what is the character in the red subdial at the 9:0clock position represent? Thanks
  19. Hey everyone! Greetings from just outside Boston, MA. Just came across RWG and TRC and I think Im addicted. So many great Reps so little time (and money) I will be looking for a new Pam soon...maybe an 005 or a 111 or 177. Ive been reading up on different dealers and was wondering if I would need mods done on any that I buy, can that be done by the dealers or does anyone suggest someone for mods? Thanks all.
