I am planning on getting a Navitimer numbers in the near future and thought I would offer this side by side comparison of the Gen vs. a Rep from one of our dealers... there are a few flaws in the rep with the biggest being the deep date wheel among a few others. Overall the rep is pretty good IMO... Comments and/or advice is appreciated...still searching... Gen on the right... Thanks, DWS

I want to take this opportunity to thank all the members (By-Tor, Ub, Edge, ZZ, Tribal, Pugwash, etc...and many more) that have posted the great reviews, watch repair guides, and information that I continue to absorb in an effort to educate myself in this new found addicting hobby. I am becoming very interested in not only collecting but also modding and eventually building my own Franken sub. I have purchased some starter tools, dremel, etc. and am on my way.... Here is my first attempt at a picture of my humble start as I have utilized the info in the forum and done a clean and polish to an old favorite. This watch looks so much better than it did...forgot to get a before picture.... I will post another picture of my Rolex SS Gen DJ to follow, wanted to try it on the other watch first... Undoubtably the best Link Chron color..GRAY. Tried the Gray on at AD this weekend and liked it much better than the Blue. These pictures are incredible TTK! Looks better than in your hand... Take care of me Neil and I will come after one of these next... Thanks

He's is around. I sent him an email last week and he responded in a few days. Ordered the watch on Friday and he accepted payment on Sunday. Have not received any confirmation but I am sure I will. He has been great to deal with for me so far. Just hope the delivery is not delayed as I can't wait to get my hands on it. I imagine he is swamped with orders on these since By-Tors recent review. In my recent search to purchase a sub, I have considerd EL's version as follows: http://www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum...showtopic=32775 In El's description he states "thick mag" so I sent him an email to ask exactly what that meant. The reponse I got was "Yes, it is 2.5". Can only report what the response was and don't have first hand knowledge as I don't have the actual watch...yet. Hope this helps, DW

I think the date mag "is" to far right. I viewing a gen, there appears to be second marks showing to the right of the date mag form straight on shot...Take a look at a gen photo...
