sorry mate, it scarres me a bit you mentioning porn and giant... something... very closely....
but if you want to know, he did show me his giant... you know...years ago..... just after paying me some money.... it was at Aldi's parking lot...lovely sunny evening.... nothing unusual... men's things.. right V.?
Ha! sorry about the choice of words, seems that I couldn't edit it anymore LOL
I just wanted to see more images of OP @dadog13's 6152/1, it seems that this is main PAM timepiece.
Hey @dadog13 share 6152/1s images mate, let us drool in awe of the Angelus movement and that plexiglass and that exotic case and crownguard
-
Show us some solo porn images of the 6152/1 please, let us see the full spread of it, the strap and the movement!
Thank you..
Yes, the 6152/1 has an Angelus SF240 inside. There are two more that are fitted with the cortebert 616 movement (3646 & 6154).
A couple of frankens can be found (024, 057,...) and I have left out the gen from this photo, they have their own place
I really cannot pick one from the whole lot and say that it's my fav., for sure the Submersible family (44mm/47mm) is what I wear the most.
I reckon you must have a giant wrist, 8 inches yeah?

anyone of these having that Angelus movement?
which one is the top dog among all your pams?
any gen PAMs in the mix? Frankens?
Amazing Collection!

Thanks for the kind words mate! Could you post an updated image of all the SMPs you own at the moment? Would be great to see that and might inspire more members to build their own as well.That’s looking good mate. I’m glad you’ve built another one. Sorry to steal your last one: it’s sitting nicely in my little collection. Your new one definitely needs the correct bracelet though. Post up some more photos once you’ve got it.
Perhaps I am still halfway on this build, call me crazy but I need a gen case back LOL and other missing parts. Hey do you reckon it would be nice to replace this old beat up insert with the one from Wholesaleoutlet990 and just further mod the pearl?

Well well well if it ain't another infamous franken Omega Bond 2531.80 SMP...
This is another one that has been in the works for the longest time since my acquisition of my first ever rep SMP 40th anniversary edition back in 2009;
The OG LOOK (not yet frankened, tried to bleach the bezel LOL)
Bezel insert from my rep SMP Chrono diver and the rep chrono diver's bracelet
Let say I made a big mistake and totally have regretted selling an almost perfect SMP franken from last year from the legend @exelonman, I guess seller's remorse also do exist especially among us watch collectors. @kernow is the lucky bugger(no pun intended) who stole my watch LOL mate you are the reason why this build exist! cheers! I hope to see the watch in tip top perfect shape.
I don't mind the inaccuracy of the case, the bracelet, the thickness, the He Valve position (epoxied the MFer and the He Valve not even turning Fook me dead!), the beat up and faded bezel, the sunken lume pip (will prolly buy an aftermarket bezel from wholesaleoutlet990 and mod the pearl on it).
I care about the total fun and excitement in building these things in which is very very challenging but satisfying at the same time.
Gen 1503/825 bracelet is on its way upon writing this.shot outs to;
@K4jun for the updated build guide
@Specter1000 for this SMPc case that I am using now
@Mr. Pap for this dial and also the comprehensive build guide
@R2D4 also for the OG build guide
@By-tor for the OG level inspirations!PS I am still contemplating (if the money allows me ATM) in continuing this build using an MKS/MKF case and perhaps a gen caseback, an anti magnetic cover, gen case tube and crown but of course only time can tell...
Yeah too much banter right I know! Now on to the images and thanks for looking;

Hmm interesting, does this mean reps will increase in value I wonder..................
I have my tin foil hat on and I bet this certainly is the reason for this supposed "Raids"...
In my mind its more of a "Raise" in prices...

Ask for the serial number from the red card if it matches the number engraved under the lugs

Always buy the seller before the watch, especially if you can’t view it in person. I’ve bought plenty of watches online. I always ask for extra photos and if the seller isn’t forthcoming I just walk away.
Amen to this! on the side note, can I buy back my Omega SMP or its remains? LOL

Thanks for stating it's period correct. Your old one is re-cased in the one above. It's a new gen case I picked up on one of the forums. Your old case from it is now housing a gen white dial. Both are lovely watches. Have you built another franken yet?
Indeed. These are lovely.
I am semi retired now to the watch collecting game, I am just enjoying my gen SMP 300m Co Axial quartz version.
I might be interested in scoring some franken SMPs if there are available watches, I am contemplating to get a speedy moonwatch with the hesalite crystal as my last dance and then its total sunset curtains closed for me at that time. looking at the second hand market, got dang those used once from Japan are very tempting to get.
Do let me know if you are ever selling one of your frankens mate!

This is definitely mounted on the 90s to 2000s smps as far as I can remember and pretty much your combo is chronologically bang on. How is the franken I've sold you? Is it done already?It's a gen strap that I've used on my Seamaster Chronograph for year's. Not sure what model it's for as it fits ‘okay’ but not perfect.

@By-Tor is there anyway we an twist the arm of the cartel to lower down their rep watch prices back to 2000-2010 levels?
Shall we bully them with the narrative that microbrands are taking over? or legit homages?

wowzers, those titanium models are really a break through in omega's design department even though it screams 90's era vibe, even more so those tantalum and rose gold/yellow gold SMP chrono diver combos
-
Can you please share them beauties over here? Do you have the SMP chrono diver in titanium and rose gold/yellow gold? Or the blue chrono diver in titanium?
Ummmm a few. About 6 SMP Chronos (mixture of reps and gens). 3 GMTs (1 gen, 2 reps). Then, at last count 7 SMPs, again some hens and some reps.
As you can tell I'm a sucker for Ti watches.

Thank you both for the compliments.
The watch in the top 3 pics is the closed rep case, which had a normal seamaster wave caseback and did have a serial number. dutchguy2 originally put it together, and one other owner and myself improved upon it a bit. It is the case that dutchguy mentions a few posts down in this thread. Here is what the back of the case looked like:
As you can see, I sold it last year. Compared to my gen, it was very close. A bit thicker case due to the 2824 vs 2892, and the crown guard shape was a bit pointier.
The bottom two pics are a 100% genuine Seamaster. Other than the dial, the rest of it is standard 2831.80. The story of its restoration is over on RWI: https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/omega-replicas/7738314-destroyed-genuine-omega-seamaster-bond-restoration-story-and-pic-heavy
The connection to this thread, is that the gen 40th dial and bracelet I used for that watch are the ones from dutchguy2 that he mentioned in post #1. I did not win that eBay auction, but now I'm curious what it went for. I did try to sell this dial on eBay a couple times years ago.
This is that gen dial I was watching ob ebay previously before going gen, I figured, that I will be needing the correct caseback which is another needle in the haystack;
Is this the franken watch you are reffering to that was sold on ebay?
I do have an A21J version of the 40th anniversary but is already modded with a gen 2531.80 and is now on my brother's wrist - will be moving the watch to new case soon
here it is;
OG setup
with a poorly bleach bezel mod (LOL) and a gen 2531.80 tritium dial from Mr Pap (missing his Omega Gen parts sale nowadays)
and with the new bezel from my chrono diver (bent the OG bezel upon removal) gosh its thicker and is really not a good fit but its ok
The whole album;
Lastly,my newly acquired gen 2221.80
