Gee... Chanel watches on a dude? Ever see a Hells Angel with a Chanel? James Bond?, a United States Marine?, John Effin Wayne? I kind of doubt it. I always say taste is an individual statement, and to be respected, and hey, I am in the art business. Lot's of guys here that wear Chanel! Just not what might be referred to as a "Manly" watch. In fact, I would expect to see a Chanel watch on a guys wrist as he spreads his buttcheeks, and you can hear from the other side, "Enter at will fella's". I have given my son my grandfathers Bulova Automatic from 1947, as well as several reps, a Graham Chronofighter, Pam 111, 172, a Bvlgari Assioma, and he weras them all with pride. I have also given him an art collection that would be the envy of anyone. When it comes to art, my standards are higher. Everything is authentic. Being in the business has it's upside. Leaving things to your children is more important than most may realize. It is your legacy, and in turn becomes theirs as the familiy generations pass the wind, uh the time I mean.

The strap is it comes with is from Andrew. They are the same choice as the 177L. Not bad at all. I have around 30 straps in my colle tions anyway, so they change like the wind

It's no problem. I ordered the 219. I was reluctant of the lightweight titanium anyway and prefer the Stainless Steel. The quality is the same and the destro is quite unique, so it's all good. The 219's I have seen purchased are pretty damn good.

Seems the supply of the new 177L titanium is no longer available. I ordered one from Trusty but it's a no go until more are made. As the lefty destro has always intrigued me, I got the 219 instead from the same source, or so it seems. Any happy 219 owners out there? The simplicity of the base Pam is elegant, and this will be my first.

Wow, the 219 is a helluva watch. I am right handed but am tempted to get it over the 177L. The stock in the 177L is out right now, so I may have to get this one. Decisions.

The 382 Bronze sub with green dial is brilliant. What an awesome rep it would be. What an awesome gen! Runs around 17,500. US, this one will be an instant classic.

Nice pair! They really are good out of the boc Pams for the money. It is a shame we cannot seem to et the swiss movements any more. Even DSN has none.
