  1. I second the Oakley. They make some of the best prescription eyeglass frames. Next is Prada, and Armani
  2. This is an interesting post. Watches can often be like works of art. At first you don't know what to think, but in time you become more intrigued. Panerai is by far the watch brand that has grown on me since first seeing them. What began as a curiosity became damn near an obsession. No doubt many in this forum are in the same boat. Nothing wrong with that as we all sail into the sunset on the SS Panerai ! Been awhile since I was here.
  3. Try a bit of black shoe polish and buff the strap gently. This works on mine.
  4. The watch looks so much better in leather than the green canvas it comes in. Thank you for posting. Some good looking shoes.
  5. This is a pleasant topic. For the most part, the majority realy don't care much at all (or at least they act that way) about watches. Probably most of us here have often admired beautiful watches of quality, and never said anything to the person wearing it. Watch collecting is like any other, in that those enthusiasts seek out others for both camparison and knowledge. Omnce in a while I will get comments on my watch of the day, but mostly it is I who initiates the subject, and in watches like Panerai, those wearing them seem taken back that I knew what their watch make even was. Many have said, the same thing in that no one has a clue whats on the wrist. This is ok though, we do it for ourselves, but yes, it can be a lonely hobby.
  6. Glad to hear your health is better. Being sick is the worst and we never really appreciate life at is fullest when something is ailing you. Take care of yourself.

  8. It is a big watch and my wrist is 8" so it works for me. Easy to see how most would shy away. The large size compensates also for the smaller print. Panerai has gone out of the box probably due to crticism that all their watches look alike. Sometimes you cannot win no matter what.
  9. I have to admit I have not been following the new Panerai releases as I did before, but this Mare Nostrum 52mm is quite a big and interestying watch. At $ 36,000 for the gen, it is a pricy buggah as well. If DSN makes one, I might have to have it. 10. My DSN 341 has not been worn for awhile. Uploaded with ImageShack.us

  13. Alex:"Welly welly well then, everything all right and proper the way it should be, yes? All back to normanl as it should be?Righty Right?" Dim: "Righty right" Georgie: "Right" Alex: "So tell us Georgie Boy, Tell us about this big plan" Georgie: "Not tonight then, not this notchie" Alex:"Come come now Georgie Boy, You're a big strong Cheloveck like the rest of us. 15. Aloha. Been away for 6 months, I'll drop by again in another 6 months. Happy watch hunting, modding, and showing off your goodies. I have not worn this one much lately. DSN sure makes a helluva Pam rep. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  16. Having so many come and go, I have to say my 3 DSN pams, the 127, 5218-203a, and the 341 egiziano 2 pams from Trusty, the 111e swiss which he no longer offers and the 232. The F Muller black face chrono Casablanca with steel bracelet is a beauty, as is the V-1 HBB ceramic bezel rose gold. Rounding out with a Graham oversize chronofighter and a Bvlgari Assioma.
  17. Both RWG and RG have something to offer the rep collector. Each has it's own flavor and each has it's own positive as well as negative aspects. Honsestly though, I was impressed at how RG gained so many members in such shorter space in time as RWG. The fact is RWG has paved the way for nearly all the other forums and set a standard of sorts. Thanks for pointing this out T. I don't understand the logic for inflating the numbers when they were already respectable, so the conclusion can only be the widely surmised notion of genital size or lack thereof.
  18. Hello All, I have been gone for awhile. This year and a half has been unlike any in my life. I hope everyone here at RWG is prospering, healthy and enjoying life. This is the third rep watch I ever purchased, a 232 Pam from Trusty. Many more Panerai reps have followed, and not all have I kept, except for my DSN 127, 5218/203a, 111E, and a monster 341 also from DSN. Enjoy your Sunday Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  19. One of the strap screws on my HBB fell out and Andrew has shipped me some spare ones. He is very good in things like that. Top notch service for years.
  20. Here is one of those tiny little Panerai watches.
