  1. Here is mine enjoying the sand and the warm gulf waters, Orange Beach, AL
  2. Watch the Vintage Rolex market. Also I would post a want to buy over there, never mention reps or this or any rep forum over there, they hate reps!!!
  3. As Pete said, don!t post website info, email addresses or members names here. AFA the upgrades, no one knows when the admins will find a suitable payment venue. We are all waiting for that day.
  4. Finn, You are stirring up trouble. You, who in your own high handed way, claimed that you were against conflict, didn't want to start trouble, etc, etc. Now here you are resurrecting and old dead thread, started by and idiot, that made no sense at all, and using some lame excuse to link to the MD2020 thread. You need to go back off and not keep agitating. If you and Mike have a problem, which obviously you do, you needed to work it out between yourself and Mike, with the mods help if needed. Adding fuel to the fire is not going to help your cause, and if you keep up what you are doing, I'm sure the mods here will be happy to give you a little "time out" to let you decide whether or not you want to be a part of this forum.
  5. Why don't you try to find a genuine dial? The dial feet are for ETA movements,so no cutting of feet.
  6. Maybe the light, but it looks black to me.
  7. I have three MKII's two Kingston's and a Stingray, they are seriously good watches, top quality, the wait is long, but definitely worth it. The Kingston is one of the few contemporary watches that have increased in value. A Kingston in good condition (95%) is selling for right around twice the original price, and they are pretty scarce as only 300 were made.
  8. Sounds like they are using the same paint mixture as their old 16613's. Wasn't that one of the big faults with some of the old rep 16613 dials?
  9. That sounds like one of our afternoon thunder showers here in the tropical south!!!
  10. I just sent him your address, he said to go stand out by your mailbox, the postman will have it to you shortly!!!
  11. Congrats on the 5000! I certainly have enjoyed your posts and your wonderful photos
  12. I have one with Mike, got photos from him yesterday and he should be shipping it out tomorrow. He was going to overnight it to me today, but no one is home this week.
  13. Just to get us back on track, I emailed Mike last night, he got back to me today, several emails back and forth, he sent me photos of my Daytona, complete, ready to go. Looks very, very nice. Will ship on Thursday at my request. I will use Mike in the future should I have modding work that needs to be done. That's my prerogative and mine only, certainly every member here is entitled to their own opinion and course of action.
  14. Thanks Pete, I'm looking specifically for the JLC Master Compressor GMT though.
  15. Well obviously, the best around is not around any more, that would be Ziggy. I had Vac do a DeepSea a couple of years ago, his work was very good. From what I've been reading, he is very busy, and turn around time might be slow. Best to PM or email him and see what his schedule is. Mymanmatt has someone in your area who does relumes, but possibly they only work on Rolex dials/hands.
  16. I believe that I missed out on one if these from a fellow member in the EU. Anyone have one for sale, or know if any of the dealers still carry this model? Every now and then I need to try something else besides Rolex!!!
  17. I don't know if anyone in the hotlanta area. Might try vac in Florida.
