    I really hate to wear any of my Rolex reps in public or at work. I always get all of those "is that real?" questions. It doesn't matter if it is real or fake, they still ask. When I wear my gen datejust, everybody assumes its fake. I'd rather wear my Omegas because few people even know what they are where I live.

    80% agree with u!! No one even ask me "is that real?" or I had been call-out when I still owned several Rolex before. However I think in the rep market; Rolex is the worse & flawly.That's why I sold out all my Rolex reps. Nowaday; I know whether they're Gen or not in a single sight (Because I knew where should I looking for...). I believe most of the newbies will get their 1st rep on Rolex; because they're so famous & the most easiest to get.

    In most cases; Rolex is the 1st step lead us to the dark-side; are we going to became a Pro rep-collector or stay away from rep anymore , all depend are we going to found the right place or right way to learn/equip/expend our knowledge......

    Right now I owned 5 reps : Daytona 116509 (Dead...), IWC 3717 A7750 serviced+ETA DDW swapped, Hublot Big Bang Black Magic, Omega ETA Ultimate Planet Ocean 45.5mm, DSN Panerai 113. I'm happy with them; sure my requirment on quality get much higher than before as long as my knowledge growth. As a result; I became more selective on my purchase. That's why things just getting better & better.

    I knew a lady who Like, Love, Addict to Panerai. She's nice, passion, helpful & beautiful (that's only my imagination; because we never meet...). Her huge Panerai collection (Watch + different kind of strap) always make us jealous, amazing & shock!

    She is a very good "role-model" for all women; Independent, Good Taste, Got her own life style, Willing to try & always the first one who step forward. She let me to understand "Nothing is Impossible".

    So women shouldn't wear a Panerai? I don't think so.

    She got her nickname "V"

    Ar...Too exciting about my new strap & have few things forget to report:

    1.) I got my new strap by USD$74.- (I think the price is reasonable)

    2.) I found a 2nd-hand shop which sell ALL style of SC-Straps at USD$102.- only!!! Why I not going to grab the SC? It's because the salesman told me that I can't use my bucklet......I don't like the bucklet provided by SC.

    3.) I got my new strap in Ken's Watches; They selling Panerai from 5 years ago; even they're not the AD of Panerai in HK. But they're expert in Panerai. As my FXXKing tiny wrist too small; every single time I need to punch 2~3 more hole on strap. This afternoon I have a big-mistake to hand-over my watch to measure the length to make several punch....The shop owner "Ken" see the movement & look me back just less than 10sec.....He call-me-out with his eye....Dawn...I'm very embarrassing at that moment.

    Once again, this's lesson teach me NEVER,NEVER hand-over your rep to someone under any circumstance. Maybe I'm too sensative; but after he found my watch is rep. He didn't provide a good service to me anymore. After he finish his ajustment & installed my new strap. He request me to pay by CASH NO CREDIT-CARD!!! This really [censored]-me off!! I wear a rep=I will use a fake credit-card?? Few minutes argue & he finally accept my credit-card... I NEVER going back to "Ken" anymore. They provide a lot of good OEM strap for Panerai, AP, IWC in very good price. But I won't purchase anything from there anymore!!!

    Last Friday I got a not very good Light-Tan Calf strap for my PAM113. After read the post from Vbarrett I'm really not satisfied my new strap (Especially for the colour). They're just very different with what I really want. :huh:

    Today; I search again in my home city. At last; I found a very good one! IMO; the colour are close to Gen (Dark Tan) & the quality much better than I own before.

    Here we go AGAIN! :D
