@DOC....I was a bit over-reacting cause I am so excited that this watch will be released in the future....weeks or months...who cares when it comes to a schedule of a rep-factory I asked dealers for certain watches and only got the answer "...will be released in 2 months, ....will be out end of this year,...will be for sale in the next weeks" and that meant exactly NOTHING, some of them popped-up on the dealers site next day, some never made it....so you´ll never know. And that happend many times before (just 10 days ago I asked for the HBB King Power in PVD...."will be out not before October"....ping, there it was for sale only 5 days later (allthough pulled off again 5 hours later ). So lets cross fingers.....if this year or next year.....my only wish is DO IT RIGHT FIRST TIME! Cheers all, Theo

But thats not too hard to copy....no need for real sapphire though. The factory/maker bought a gen PlopProf some months ago and is in the process of doing all the parts. I want this watch sooo badly....reminds me of my starting days in watch-collecting over 20 years ago. WHEN WHEN WHEN???? Theo

My last 3 sec@12 were outstanding and reliable out of the box. But as I stated elswhere....calculate a movement service into your buying-price. ....and with the SAFARI you have to calculate a new strap as well (the brown-color rep-croco is from minor quality) Theo

I got mine from Silix and was very impressed by it....but I was pi**ed by the stripped screw-down crown, was not ablke to screw it tight after only 4 days of use, sent it to Silix for repair and they never managed to come back with an updated watch...so I got a full refund for it and now wait for the new 51mm Super Diver Chrono that ORIS released on this years Basel World. Complete case is made of stainless steel....bezel as well. Seams that Andrew has a mistake in his discribtion. I have to work on the deployant cause this should be just stainless steel without PVD....only the outer clasp with AP insignia should be PVD! But all in all a wonderful dark and mysterious watch. My favorite is allways my newest watch....but my 2 ALLTIME favorites are the grey dialed rubberclad and the RB2. Theo

Thx for the update....but I have never seen anyone with a rep-Team Alinghi.....those bad, cheapo, quartz thingies....those straps and conversions will cost a fortune....my guesss is 200$ for the strap and around 500$ for the conversion....who wants to put a 700$-strap-carbon-combo on a 150$ watch Just my 0.02$ Theo

I can only second your words.....if Kevin needs something he will be a great communicator....but if the time to give arrived he just keeps quiet and will never send you any messages. Hope he will deliver to all those peepes that wait on his pieces since years. Theo
