I place my question again: Can a 7750 be used as a handwind movement without getting damaged in the near future? Theo
-
Everyone is talking about the size....it is the wrong size...OK. But now DSN has done this piece and I am really tempted. This is what is bothering me: He states "7750 manual wind"....that means the rotor has been taken out and the watch is now used by handwinding it....remembering some of The Zigmeister

The real NAVY does not have a steel bracelet, only the rep can be purchased with one. Anyway, all my sec@12 are reliable and run very accurate.....but as I stated I NEVER USE THE CHRONO! If you like to use the chrono from time to time you should go with a sec@9 because the replaced subdials with all those gears that don

marcoxx.... I have both watches and I am very pleased with both of them. One cannot compare cause they are completely different. If you will get the upgraded black themes (black date-window), both watches are very near to the gen. Both watches are waterresistant (speaking of DIN specifications)...so you can easyly swim with them. But the NAVY has got a blue hornback croc-strap (fake croc) ...BTW: what a joke for a watch called NAVY!....so it will be more than risky to get that strap in the water and a black rubber will look bad on the NAVY. The NAVY

Seems you referred to my earlier post: New APROO out - the RHONE F....made for the Geneva boutique in very limited edition of 500 pieces in the color of the Switzerland national flag! The caseback is nearly 100% correct (although this is 001/500 again). The dial looks great beside the small error on the rehaut....should read BASE and not TACHYMETER. The Sachin T....is really nice and close to gen now. Theo

Horrible pics of my beautiful new baby (28A) finally up and running
MADRED7 replied to coliver18's topic in The Panerai Area
The 28 is a keeper and a beautyfull piece.....a good reason to launch a new gen PAM028 these days for PANERAI. Wear is well and often, Theo -
...and I just got the info that the APROO Rubens B. will not be updated with a new movement-plate! According to the dealer, this model sells like hot-cakes and the maker believes his watch is 100%. Anyway, there seems to be a parallel world of rep-buyers beside the forums.....I just know about 2 members that got the watch yet....funny.... Theo

APROO Black Themes OR Volcano Seconds at 12
MADRED7 replied to dude82's topic in The Audemars Piguet Area
If you are experienced in "louder" watches....go VOLCANO if you are more the standard watchguy....go black THEMES Theo -
That one was announced earlier last week....sec@9....but quite nice. Seems to be the 1 steps towards the seconds@12 version. I

Congrats....one of my alltime favorites. Theo -
The only one that can help you is your dealer you bought the watch....if he is reliable and a stand-up guy, he will step in and help you out (my dealers allways took good care of my problems). Good luck, Theo

I like the watch more and more..... unfortunately (1) I have to wait untill my APROO Navy is back home from repair in China (movement was bad and stopped every now and then) unfortunately (2) I agreed with myself not to buy another ROO before my NAVY is back (waitwaitwaitwait) unfortunately (3) I have an agreement with my dealer and have to buy the watch from him (I purchase my watches for 5 years now from him) unfortunately (4) prices are not yet down for this beauty.....how long do we have to wait before a pricedrop makes this one a hot-seller??? Cheers mates, Theo

I had 4 of them in my watchboxes....too much to hold all and "being tiered of strap changes" does not justify to keep all. And I allways wanted to have that look on it Theo
-
Thats just the pic.....I shoot the pic directly after re-assembling the watch....the strap fits fine. Theo

Dear members, you all know I am a ROO addict....have all the possible MBW models plus some of the new sec@12. The last months showed that I am sooo into black watches....especially ALLBLACK watches. Let me now just show you some pics of my newest End of days "blackdays"....kind of a EoD PartII Numbers appear grey on the pics but are really deep dark grey when seen in real life, the strap is the original EoD LE Audemars Piguet rubberised calf strap that came with the gen set (rarely seen...I was lucky)! With the very special help of the magiacian himself (Rob) and some tank-grey paint plus dark-grey lume....here it goes: AP ROO EoD blackdays

Scratching a Blacksteel - How scratched are yours?
MADRED7 replied to Fidestro's topic in The Breitling Area
Guys...its not only the coating...(BTW; PVD and DLC are just the coatings)....its the material that will be coated. The steel of the BS gen is a bit different to our rep-watches....harder type. And the manufactorer used a process to harden the steel before coating to get it more scratch-resistant. The coating on our BS is a good one .... but the steel it is attached to is weaker than the gen. I have no scratch in my BS but it lightens up from month to month...it is not as dark as before due to finger-oil, nose-grease and other stains I thought ceramic would hold up nicely....but my TG has some minor scratches from desk-diving though. Theo -
Hi Lani, what a nice watch...different....would go well for my job interview this morning mmmh. Have to think about out because of the "smaller" size.....but 108...nothing to think about that Enjoy it Theo P.S.: what a shame....no need to order a new strap from Aaron!?

Thanks for your advice guys....I chatted with my dealer and we decided to give the watch 2 more nights and we like to see if this issue remains. If still stopping I will send it back to him for a movement change Theo
