Dear All and dear fellow members,
we actually face two fashions in watch-business
.....size matters and black is the new SS
So I found today, browsing through a watch-magazin this impressive 48mm CORUM Admirals Cup Chrono in ALLBLACK.
It
FIRST...the rep color is completely off....as some above mentioned allready puke-green instead of olive-green!
SECOND...the 2 reps you mentioned are playing different leagues...BP is OK for the price, TopGun new ceramic will be outstanding and highly accurate...TG will be tripple the price of the BP.
THIRD...understatement is matte black.....extravagance is booger-green.
Just me 0.02$

I will wait for the IWC TopGun ceramic....its very nice and looks very accurate.....and to be honest I am sooo into the black watches at the moment.....

Seems we have the same dealer....mailed him some hours ago and got speedy response to save my dollras and wait for ultimate version coming early March....so I will wait!

mmmmhhh....they look quite nice allthough
- the bezel is a bit too wide
- the bezel-teeth are not enough (too large)
- the numbers and indezees are a bit off
But anyway...this can be a good starter for modds....buff the case and scratch the plexi.
DSN: will there be a PANERAI Big Egiziano?????
Theo
WOW, very nice....but I fear its no real ceramic??!!
Anyway, with those recent price-tags I am no longer able to purchase as usual.....so I have to be 1000% clear that its the watch for my wrist (just like the BlackSteel).
Lets wait and see....

My RC came from Angus....I told him about the thinny bezel rubber....but he never had a chance to replace it.
Now i asked again for a replacemet or repair because I simply don
Thats an easy answer: YES they will sell you straps....you are the buyer and they want to sell.
But why paying 400$ + for a calf strap if you can get very good 3rd party straps for the ROO
The black case is not the first PVD or black cased watch AP came out with...here are some others:
- End of days
- AP LE Paris
- ROO Survivor
- AP Allblack Themes (ok, that was a one-off)
I have my rubberclad for over 7 months now, it runs great but I have to admit:
1) I change my watches daily and every watch only gets a turnaroundtime of 60 days (so it has been worn 6-7 times now)
2) I never did run the chrono but once...just to test....
For a 570$ watch it is not perfect!

Dear members,
I got a standard PAM111 and tranfered it into a nice PAM02A...with matching caseback and aged T SWISS T dial.
Looks great so far....BUT the big give-away on this watch is the blue/purple tint the crystal shows from different angles....this really bugs me cause it screams fake to me.
I tried a wax-polishing from the outside....did not work
I tried a chrome-polishing paste from outside and inside crystal...did not work
I tried a plastic-polishing-liquid from the outside....did not work.
Who knows:
how to remove this coating from the crystal
is this from the inside and/or outside
Help me please....

Just another BIG give-away for the Safari-rep....the numbers and hands are black on it...thr real deal has got dark brown numbers and hands (beside the cream dial)...sorry.
Theo
I have a nice MOLNIJA vintage 3602 movement...similar to the Cortebert 616....will sell that for a decent price.
And I still have that WM Radiomir bezel you wanted to have....
