  1. Hopefully you asked your dealer to put on the correct strap....they advertise it with a rubber but it should come with the Singapore perforated strap and double-red stitch....look at the gen pics above. Cheers....looking forward to see your pics and review. Theo
  2. At least I think they will do a wrong date font. This watch looks easy but it isn´t.....so many tiny details that can be screwed up (movement, date font, blue lume, bezel and bezel-inlay, the caseback-ingraving, mesh-bracelet, clasp). These details mentioned above are not that noticable.....but on that simple-big-watch they are important. Due to the simplycity of the whole watch you will look more on the details and fine ingravings. I will buy this watch anyway.....hopefully with mesh and orange and black rubber. Lets wait and see----should be end of this month. (ohoh, I heared that before) Theo
  3. WOW....the factory improved the date position Theo
  4. WOW...very good information and understandable for everyone. Hope the factories would notice your review and have these gear-issues fixt....albeit that would reduce some of your service-works (just joking). Thx a lot, I think I need to send my beloved ROO
  5. QUESTION: is the gap between bezel and case normal? Does the real Jumbo have this mudd-and-stain-catcher as well? Just curious, Theo
  6. I would go both roads: 1) get a strap incl. the conversion-kit and a deployant from one of our dealers....go for rubber (98$ shipped) 2) look at APBands site cause they have wonderful quality that fits fine to the watches, they also will do custom jobs and you can choose from different styles and several colors. I have a HKTan strap myself....but honestly; the fit to the case is not that prefect and I nearly screwd the strap while fiddeling it with the screws to the case. On the other hand his price for a real hornback is unbeatable. Theo
  7. Mine is at the post office to be picked up tomorrow Theo
  8. There were only blue and black and the infamous silver/white....you may call it "whilver" My watch should be at my doorsteps any soon this week. Theo
  9. I am waiting as well for a PloProf to appear on the dealers sites. I know the factories take a bit longer with this model because they wanna do it right first time. Unfortunately we will have to live with some f
  10. WAIT...WAIT....I smell something, yes....its cheese. Theo
  11. ...and if you do not need the AP logo...this is the cheapest alternative: http://www.watch-band-center.com/watchstrap-s70h4-Buckles.html I got several of the matt black buckles...good for the buck. Theo
  12. Unless the dealers all made wrong meassurings....its the wrong size. They all state 42mm allthough the gen is 46mm! So thats why I did not yet pulled the trigger (...errrh and the PR indicator is too centered) Theo
  13. QUESTION: Is the case construction the same as gen?....case build like a container to put the movement in and press it with the bezel and those screws aginst the caseback to make it waterproof??? Just curious. Theo
  14. Ask the dealers here on the board....but me thinks you won
  15. Allready saw that one....nicely done. Caseback looks good, no funny serial number, .... the serial letter is wrong, should be "G" not "P". Dial is done quite good from the pics, the pics are a bit too far away ... I cannot see the details that di
  16. Thx for that link....we allready talked but I am not the blue-dial-guy. Talked to several others concerning this watch.....can you size the bracelet down to fit a 6.5" wrist???? Seems that many members cannot size their bracelet down...therefor sell it. Let me know, Theo
  17. YEAH....mid March was my latest info on the release date. Lets really hope for only a version 1.....they had the gen to copy from....so keep your fingers crossed. Theo P.S.: Ahhhh and that indipendent adjustable hour-hand is great....we won´t see in the rep

  21. Its not the rubber strap that makes it expensive, its the Titanium buckle. The strap alone will only be around 250USD Soon the dealers will offer this strap with the buckle for sale. Cheers Theo
  22. That size will be 54.18 mm Theo
