  1. I would opt for 2 models that should cover all likings: 1) the "older" version of a Black Themes on bracelet.....looks closest to gen and the date-window-gap is not that obvious. 2) the new Silver Themes on bracelet with additional rubber strap....please see my pics. Theo
  2. Well....depends on your relation to reps....you need 1:1....than its OFF. You need a good looking watch, a nice rep, well done, you don
  3. @ PAUL....and how about those replacement dials in real white???? Theo
  4. I just ordered my piece....a very nice rep.....a big watch, but wearable for sure. Only flaws I saw so far: - bezel edges are not crisp enough - numbers are thinner on the rep Anyway, looking forward to receive it Theo
  5. No No...the case is quite thin for the diameter....the watch is wearable.....the 52mm DSN Big-Egi is much thicker and looked way coll on my 7.5 inch wrist. Theo
  6. Yessir...I am excited and now I am even more excited with having T. in my neihgbourhood ordering a T3. So message to M. and T. -> If you don´t like T3 anymore, I´ll be there Theo
  7. Thank you for posting this vid....looks convincing and way nice! Enjoy the watch... BTW: is there any other chance you can use a standard 24/26mm strap and cut out the middle part of the strap between the lugs??? Theo
  8. And how about sanding down the retaining ring or using one that is thinner or has a different material that allows the crystals to expand? Theo
  9. All the women I meat so far have no idea about watches and would only realise a RLX....I don
  10. Congrats on that beauty. I was thinking the same, lovely details and wonderful Tourbillon...something to stare at all day long Could you please post a wrist-shot....as this baby is huge, I need to know how it looks on the wrist. Theo
  11. Oh boy....will I ever get my PloProf wet? Reading this I fear to wear it outside while humidity is high...will keep it down in the cellar in my box Theo
  12. Ugh.....350$ to strap a 199$ watch on....cool understatement. But you are right, the strap makes the watch sometimes. Theo
  13. Good info there.....I wear my PANDA with my hornback-racer-strap today....NIIIICE! Theo
  14. Thomas, thanks for posting your beauties.....I like all of them (especially the GSTAAD). Now I have to think again about my new project....errrh, while we
  15. Great read...I am exited of the outcome, thank you OS. I was thinking very simple when all the PloProfs were delivered and the peeps start waering them.....can it be its just a question of "how long" did those crystal-sandwiches lay around before they got mounted.....maybe some of the delaminated pieces would have needed a bit longer for "drying" the glue between them??? Sounds silly and I cannot really explain.....I try it this way: When I worked on my 6152 vintage dial I used water-based color, colored the dial in nice faded brown color, I was so excited that I let it dry for only 1 hour and mounted it to the movement and in the watch right after that....looked perfect for 1 hour. But after some exposure to warm sunlight there was mist under the plexi....and that was caused from my coloring-efforts and the only 1 hour of drying....got me now? Anyway I am looking forward to see the outcome, cheers Theo
  16. Good observation and thanks for the heads-up. Theo
  17. I can only second your words......we need a full Titanium piece incl. a Ti bracelet! Theo
  18. Yeah right...if the factory would correct 2 flaws on the GREY THEMES I would buy it in a heartbeat: 1) made of Titanium instead of ss 2) darker numbers on the dial...should be same color as the subdials. Anyway...I asked my dealer several times and his respond was "the factory is selling like hot-cakes, they will not change it!" Errh....OK, than I will not buy it! Cheers Theo P.S.: Please remember that there are tons of other ROO´s to be replicated easier in SS....I send my dealer a notice. I´d love to see the new Tour-Auto 2010..see pic, the new bezel is cool!
  19. Hey J, looks cool....exactly the right amount of blue .... fits perfectly together. A replacement for the SS bracelet....well, there is only one real option (errh 2 me thinks): 1) the black Themes is THE ROO to be worn on ss bracelet 2) the "old" MBW blueish-grey stick marker dial is also nice on bracelet...but sold out! Cheers mate Theo
  20. Good idea....did like that last year with the GSTAAD and 6 months later...voila! There are sooooo many ROO
  21. The NAVY is nice....I had it for some weeks until I went to my AD in town and compared to the gen.....the gen dial is WHITE, pure WHITE....the rep dial is not that white and that bothered me so much that I sold it. A simple farmer needs a simple watch. Go for the PANDA (aka silver dial) Theo
  22. I just sold my Shaq 4 months ago.....its not really my color....I am Mr GREY. So if the T3 needs a home....ring my bell and I
