Well the problem with the DD module is that you will have to replace it on every service. It cannot be repaired or serviced. (That's at least what my watchsmith tells me.)

That was simply awesome, I cannot remember when I had so much fun the last time! Stephane, thank you so much for your incredible hospitality! Looking so much forward to see Capices pictures. Btw, I have some nice pictures myself - especially from the late hours of the GTG... Whooohoooo!

Could you post a close-up of the dial? Especially the "SCHAFFHAUSEN" area would be of interest. (Looks pretty gen to me, btw.)

Same happened to me - I think that this is an attempt to make people pay for their free account.

My vote goes for Schuhren all the way, fantastic timepieces for the money. The asian might be second choice to some, bute these are QC checked and very sturdy. I think they even give guarantee and customer service. Pix purchased one and it surely is a beauty!

The Skyland is too fresh for this stuff. Dials usually get to the free market when a watchmaker "forgets" to send them in for a swap even though he has received a replacement. Watches usually don't go in for a service during the first 4 years, so my guess you will all have to wait a little.

The whole article is a mixture of simplemindedness, ignorance and prejudice. I have read stuff like this before, mostly on gen boards where people tried to justify spending a huge amount of money for a gen. But those people where mostly knowing at least a little what they were writing about. This guy here is ridiculous. I missed the part where replicas fund Al-Quaida to destroy the free world. He should really add that. Also I am a bit sad that replicas don't increase in value - please tell this to everyone who has bought a seawolf ti or chrono avenger ti when it still costed 200 usd. Or the old smp with the correct HeV. Or the old Moonwatch. Or the JF pam cases and crownguards. Or the beautiful E movement asia... Erm need to stop now.
