  1. I onced agreed with a member on RG on a nice watch for a good price. Paid him via Paypal and gave him my personal details. Hours later he refunded with the note "Sold the watch to somebody else. Sorry" I'm sure he got a better offer afterwards. He lied about it later on to the mods though, posted my personal details in the open forum too. I called him a [censored] in the sales thread and got banned for a couple of weeks from RG [censored] happens....he is still selling over there though It's all in the game yo

Here you can find pictures of the finish project http://www.rwg.cc/topic/137722-akiras-1675/page__fromsearch__1
  3. I have no new dial, but if he wants to sell the MKII dial give me a shout
  4. Watch is in pieces right now. crown stem broke, waiting for DW's V23 replacement stem. I bought a gen 7205 for it to easy the pain
  5. Very nice project Dial is a MK.1 Matte Dial Used from 1965 1.6 million series until about 1971 2-something million series Early ones had the small arrow GMT hand All in all very nice Were did you get the US Rivet bracelet from? Gen? Cheers Akira
  6. Looks like it's the same to me. All you need is lenght and pin diameter
  7. I'm in EU too, but haven't found them yet. I'll let you know if I find them, please you do the same
  8. http://www.esslinger.com/refillspressurepinassortmentfortri-foldbuckles.aspx This one should fit if I buy the right mm size right? I like the bracelet as it is....I mean it's gen nonetheless.
  9. Is there a chance to mount aftermarket endlinks?
  10. But normally this is the clasp for a 7205 isn't it? Or have there always been two claps options? Thanks
  11. Hello mates, I've purchased this 7205 and have some questions you might be able to answer. The bracelet has a lot of stretch and is pretty danged up....I love it The rivet is stamped 7205 which indicates it was issued somewhat in the 60's The clasp isn't correct for a 7205 and is stamped "D" which indicates 1979 issue. What clasp is it? It's 13mm wide while the DW 78350 claps is 15mm. One pin is not SS, where can I get this replacement pin? The endlinks are marked "60" which don't fit my DW V1 6263 but according to some websites it should fit the 6239. My question is, where can I find fitting endlinks for a reasonable price. I don't care if aftermarket, they just have to fit the bracelet and my 6263. Moreover has anyone a 7205 clasp he would like to sell to me? Your help is much appreciated Cheers Akira
  12. It's possible, depending on how much seam allowence you have in the waist. But not more than 2 inch I'd say.
  13. +1 I can only agree....the stock Cartel 1655 DG is pretty decent, I just broke it and therefore had to buy a new one from Cousins. 7.) you can make the gen hands fit the movement
  14. And Ronin stop waving that thing around, you are stealing thunder from my watch
  15. It's the Cartel 1665 DW on a CousinsUK DG3804 slightly aged pattina by RA, so it doesn't look all white and shiny
  16. It's definitely a keeper
  17. Looks like you did pretty nice work..... Much better due your treatment, but the watch doesn't look like a 1675 though
  18. They have issued a new, very good looking website. Google marvellousreplica and the first hit it is....very blue I've used them for my last 15 watches, always excellent.
  19. Look at the coronet and print with a magnifier glass to if the text is printed in relief like the gen dials. If it looks flat to you, I'd say you have a bad kind of reprint. As for the accuracy....you found out on your self it mixes old and newer style.
  20. Today I wear Eiderdaus's DSSD. Very comfortable and about the right size....... .........not
  21. PM me a reasonable offer....... ......not!
  22. Yesterday I finally installed the gen crown. A huge improvement in my eyes, since the crown is flatter and not sticking out that much as the rep crown. Even though it's a 600 it looks much smaller.
