  1. Also as requested by Motyl here's a picture of the crystal distorsion:
  2. There's a slight difference but which one's the best I couldn't say . I like the Palp crown better, it's a bit thicker and got more teeth. See which you like the best, Davidsen on left, Palp on the right:
  3. Nice PAM and photos!! How's the AR? Difficult to tell, anyways, congrats!
  4. That's the only thing I didn't like about it, the lugscrews are of different lengths (both total length and in tap length) Seems they are custom made for each case, bit silly since that's makes it more difficult to replace.
  5. Yep, Tobacco strap, good call! Took some lume comparison pics; The Davidsen, a Gen Revue Thommen (Superlumina) and a Gen Marathon TSAR (Tritium) held in front of a lamp for 1 min, then took a pic about 3 min later. I thought my Marathon could do better than that Sunlight might give other results?? Have to try it in the morning maybe.
  6. Never really were into the Panerais until I tried one one, the comfortable shape and simpleness did it for me But thank good we all don't have the same taste
  7. That's one sexy m*thf*kn watch, Please rep this beauty!
  8. Just got the Davidsen 111H, fitted it with palp crown and Manifatture Firenze Buffalo strap. The lume is top notch, can add pictures later of this. Sorry for the picture quality, taken at work in a rush, but I just wanted you to see my new baby. Thanks Davidsen and Palp, it won't leave my wrist for a while Got mail from Davidsen that he'll soon present his new 111H dial with new text, then it'll really rock
  9. 945, new record today, would be great to reach 1000!!!
  10. No more interested ???? The rep hands look like so I thought these would soooo popular!!!
  11. These are great PDF's, Thanks Sherrington. Especially good to have when ordering or when one is trying to figure out where that little extra screw goes that's leftover when the watch is all assembled again
  12. Many of you have seen this I'm sure, but for the interested here's some links to "exploding pictures": ETA 2893 movement ETA 2836 movement ETA 7750 movement in english, french, german
  13. thought they wore Gold Timex's on a hairy arm, maybe I went to the wrong place
  14. Yes hehe, but soon the new excellent datewheels will be available here on the forum, right? By the way, does anybody now if the updated (bastardized) 2836 and the standard ETA 2893-2 use the same GMT wheel? Maybe the 2836 is of lesser quality? If the same GMT wheel, swapping movement shouldn't be so hard except the need for a spacer? Maybe the experts know?
